On a lighter note, I just sent Richard Lewis a couple of tweets exclaiming my love for his Curb and Robin Hood: Men In Tights appearances and in return he followed me.

I love Twitter.

Not in Canada.

I guess it takes a bit more for my mind to be blown.

No you don't. There are ways out of it if you really want to pursue something else. This is something I've spent a lot of time on because I was in the same boat (sort of) and posted about it a few pages back. I hated, hated, hated my job, I want to do other things so I worked, saved money and quit. Now I'm trying to reestablish myself at 30 but I'd rather do that than stay somewhere that did nothing for me. What scared me the most is that I didn't want to be that person who said 'I never wanted to do this for a career then 10 years go by and POOF here I am.' Granted I'm not married, don't have kids and no major debts but I wouldn't let those things make you feel like you're pinned down.

Not to sound all lecturey but first thing's first, think of what you would rather be doing. What job would make you happy and also help pay the rent? Whether that takes a minute or a week when you think of it write it down. When you write it down then list what you would need to do to get there. Do you need to go back to school? Do you need to save up a certain amount of money? Write that down. Discuss with your wife so you can both go at it together. I guarantee that if you asked her she would rather have you be happy than be miserable at a nonsense job that's just cutting you a check every two weeks.

Yeah, I changed course and switched careers, which required going back to school. I now have a job I feel is worthwhile and meaningful.  Its worth it.  I didn't have 4 kinds mind you, but still.

Well me and the Wife kind of have a dream we want to pursue. I do not need to go back to school for it but I need to pay off all my debt and then either have an extra 200K laying around or get a loan and go back into debt to start it up =/

ha nope, not a single episode.

Man it was a long weekend, and not the good kind of long either. Finally found the time and money to take the ccp class i've been wanting to do. So once I turn my application for it into the sherrifs office it should be in the mail in about 3 weeks. Then on the bad side of things my little boy fell off the monkey bars at the playground, broke his arm

Thank you, you're right its one of the worse feelings. He has an appointment with a orthopedic doctor tomorrow to make sure he doesn't have to have surgery.

Thanks Cooper. He's 6 years old he's just really uncomfortable right now. Got alot of energy and its driving him crazy he cant run around and play like he wants to.
