I think threads specifically about torrenting is a bad a idea and that should be a no-brainer. Discussion about torrents and admitting to downloading is borderline and OK in moderation, but if John actually mentioned a dollar amount on what he was saving, then yeah, that should be deleted. Also, sorry I was "AWOL." I went to Indiana to see one of my cousins get married and I forgot to mention it. Back now. We thought you were dead in a ditch somewhere! |

Reports today are saying that he's being fired now. |

I knew he had been suspended. I didn't know if the reports from today were official or still just rumors. Either way it will be interesting to see if Clarkson, Hammond, and May get together to do a TG-like show in the future of if this is all the end of it. Clarkson is definitely an ass for punching the producer, but the show won't be the same without him (if it continues at all). All the segments have already been filmed, and fans are now being punished by being deprived of that because of the "fracas"

That's not the annoying usage though.
The recent lexicon is essentially saying "I want to be offended but I'm not sure if I have a legitimate reason to be, but you should totally be offended too"
Next time you see it in an article look at it and tell me I'm wrong. It's a cringeworthy turn of phrase.

So a little over a month ago I was worried about impending layoffs at the company I work for. Eventually it happened, but the picks were about 3% of our office, which happens to be the global headquarters, and they were people who had either very bad attendance or really low performing categories. Needless to say, I was very stressed before it happened because we're a Chinese owned company, and about 95% of the company happens to be Chinese, although our home office is based in California, and I happen to be one a few handful of people there that doesn't speak Mandarin.
Fast forward to this morning and I get called into one of the offices by my director and, not only did I get a promotion, I got a huge raise!!!! I can't speak of it at the office until they make the announcement on 4/01, but I'm so excited I had to share it. Other than my wife, this is the first time I've told anyone since this morning. I've been holding in all day and thought I was going to explode.
Drinks are on me!!!!
