Anyone have any ideas on what to do on a second date? I'm stumped and painfully ordinary. Is it warm enough for a picnic in the park or some place nice? Blanket, basket, sandwiches, a mayo free side dish or salad (stuff from the deli), something to drink, and a little dessert. maybe dress up the spread with a single flower in a little vase. go for a casual walk, bring a friz-bee or some such nonsense. Movie, concert, or coffee shop. |

I was thinking about a movie, just didn't want to sound too boring. Luckily I have the restaurant already in mind. A nice, kind of hip place that serves American cuisine. I'm pretty bad at dating, honestly. If that wasn't already apparent.

What did you do for a first date? I usually try to steer clear of movies when it's early on (at the theater, if it's at your place then disregard this) because it kills conversation for two hours. Dinner and drinks are always great and a good way to converse and break any awkwardness. So you could do something like hit up a museum or go somewhere you can walk around and talk and make fun of things with her at, and then do dinner and drinks after. It's simple, but sometimes that's what works best especially for a 2nd date.
