Has anyone ever tried to see the Northern Lights? There are tours in Alaska that will take you to the best possible location for viewing. I'm only a little concerned about the possibility of bad weather. I got to see them quite often when I was stationed up in Alaska. They were definitely viewable when we were at the hot springs up in Fairbanks. One of the reasons I might move back to Alaska. In other news: I've been home for a two weeks. The apartment wasn't in bad shape, spending my two weeks of R&R just relaxing and watching movies, reading all the comics that I had waiting for me and playing on my PS4, real milk and bacon are a million times more delicious than anything fake, it's snowing (looks like I can still hold my title of winter hide and seek champion), and I got some other news that is going to make life have to do a complete 180 sooner than I expected. I'm fighting it and find the whole thing to be a bit of a bullshit answer and excuse, but I'll give you all the run down as soon as I go back to work next week. |

I can't remember the last time I had a snow day, as an adult or a kid.
I think there might have been a day that my classes were canceled when I was in college, but I honestly don't remember. I never had a snow day in four years of high school. So if not college, then it was probably grade school.
