Protesting isn't my thing. I'd rather have a conversation. What is there to discuss? There's video of a cop choking a person to death and won't even get a trial. Go burn down the Rockafeller tree with your fellow New Yorkers. Wait, I'm confused. Do you want her to protest or to burn something down? Also, you do realize that Knerys wasn't the one to choke someone out and kill them. You're coming across awfully hostile towards Knerys for no good reason. Maybe if property destruction is so important to you you can do it yourself and pretend like you're making a point in the process. |

He's not totally wrong. A lot of bystander videos that get put online (I'm looking at you, World Star Hip Hop) only start recording after something crazy has happened, so instead of getting the full incident you get the aftermath.
That being said, I think I'd rather have SOME video of an incident than nothing and needing to rely on witness testimony.

I'm not trying to debate that an unarmed man was choked to death. My comment was not aimed at the Eric Garner incident. All I was doing was agreeing with Ramplate's statement that not all videos offer 100% of the story.

But people do that here everyday and they're not put in choke holds and arrested. They're fined. A lot of the issue rests the policies of the current police chief. On more than one occasion I've read accounts from cops currently serving talking about how everything is focused on quotas and revenue. They don't develop good conflict management or safe restraint practices. It's a bit of a mess. |

Take a mirror picture it will work better if you are showing off a ribcage tattoo. I'm looking at getting my eigth tattoo when I get back. Sorry to hear about your nana, but glad to hear she is feeling good over the whole ordeal. And on the downer side: my nana was diagnosed with breast cancer the day after and had a mastectomy today. Thinking positive again: two hours out of surgery and the woman is clear as a bell. She's telling everybody not to fuss over her. No painkillers. Just peachy. Ate a full meal. Bored out of her mind. Apologized to my papa because she's coming home tomorrow and his fun time is over. She offered to cook us a turkey dinner tomorrow which we will literally have to restrain her from doing. My grandmother is a warrior. It sounds like your Nana bounced back pretty good. That's really great to hear. Life update:So on the bright side of my life: got my first tattoo ever last week. Things are going pretty stellar in my life and my friend is a tattoo apprentice (meaning free tattoos) so one thing led to another. She wanted to do realism so I got a big rose on my ribcage (yes, I got a flower, don't knock it I love roses ) Ribcage might have been a bit of a jump though for my first time.
