Re-votes combined with the original votes of people who haven't re-voted.

Re-votes combined with the original votes of people who haven't re-voted. Try not to confuse Ian. I think he asked for re-votes to make this easier.

Put it another way, the tally is based on the most recent vote from everyone involved.

Which brings us to
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind: 8 Votes The Bourne Supremacy: 7 Votes The Passion: 7 Votes The Incredibles: 6 Votes Saw: 5 Votes Primer: 4 Votes Mean Girls: 4 Votes Anchorman: 4 Votes Shaun of the Dead: 3 Votes Collateral: 3 Votes Harry Potter: 2 Votes Downfall: 1 Vote Garden: 1 Vote Before Sunset: 1 Vote
Granted this isn't supposed to be a strict majority rules scenario, I'm just listing these tallies so we all know where we stand given how all over the place this discussion has been.

I think this discussion is all over the place because 2004 wasn't really an important year for movies. Super Size Me changed McDonalds. That's about it.
You mentioned Collateral, but you're forgetting that George Lucas and Robert Rodriguez were using digital cameras before Michael Mann even thought about it. EDIT: Oh... and Danny Boyle. 28 Days Later was made on digital cameras.
2004 was the year of Spider-Man 2 and Shrek 2 and Jesus and Rachel McAdams breaking out and Jamie Foxx becoming a respectable actor. That's it.

Would anyone be opposed to making seven votes the cutoff and debating the last two? That may drag things out longer or move things along. Unsure.

It's a great film but it's advancements don't seem all that earth shattering, but I also see I'm not winning that battle. I've also said my piece for leaving Saw off the list, though it is an important film to some degree and a good choice. I'd be fine with those two.

I'm not super passionate about any of the rest except my hatred for Garden State. I would support anything else for 4 and 5 if my choices aren't in

Hey, you made a good case for it, it just didn't sell me You also dismissed Mean Girls. You have no respect for Knerys. She's old enough to be your mother. Have some decency, man.

I am distraught at the lack of support for Anchorman.
Distraught, I tell you!
