She-Hulk and Moon Knight have been announced at D23 as series coming to Disney+ from Marvel Studios. I'm glad to finally see Moon Knight getting some attention. He's an interesting character with loads of potential. I'm curious about She-Hulk, but not particularly excited about it. I've never read a single issue of She-Hulk. She's made guest appearances in a few books I've read, but that's all.

Bit the bullet on the 3 years for 140 bucks.
It's like they're forcing you to sign up.

Wow. Disney's website is total shit. I've never understood how enormous companies so often have websites that are utter garbage, yet the fan sites are always easy to navigate and function exactly as they're supposed to.
The instructions on how to sign-up are super simple. The problem is that they're totally bullshit. I've had an account for a while due to having digital copies of some Disney movies, so joining their little club seemed fairly straightforward. The instructions say that now all I have to do after signing in is to click onto My Account in the upper right hand corner. I'm finding this to be a bit difficult since THERE IS NO FUCKING "MY ACCOUNT" IN THE UPPER RIGHT HAND CORNER! After poking around for a bit and visiting the always useless FAQ, I see the notice at the bottom of the screen that says the offer won't even be available for as much as 24 hrs! Guess I'll come back tomorrow and see if they have their shit together. As annoying as this is, that price is just too good to pass up. Besides, launch day for Disney+ is my birthday!

Make sure you're a D23 member first. Go to d23.com/d23-membership/ and scroll down until you see "Become a D23 General Member". After clicking it, go back to d23.com/disneyplus/ and you'll have the "My Account" in the top right corner. *The 24 hour notice is referring to the "Redeem Now" for new D23 members, so you may not see it in your account right away.

I'd already done that, but there wasn't any My Account icon available. I refreshed the screen several times, and even closed it out completely and reopened it using the link. It just wasn't there this morning. It is now, after I gave their site a few hours to think about my having signed up. Once the My Account icon finally showed up, I was able to complete the instructions. The Redeem option was there as well. As long as Disney+ works better on launch day than their lousy sign-up page, then it's worth the $4.24 per month. My worry is that it's going to work like Marvel Unlimited, which is their digital subscription service for comics. Every once in a while, I sign up for it to see if it's working properly. It never is. The last time, I got so disgusted with it that I demanded a refund.

I had that thought, but the Hulu included in the bundle is the ad version. Definitely not doing that.

That would be valuable information to have, but all I've read is that the bundle includes Hulu with ads. If you have that option, it would be smart for them to say. The fact that they haven't said that leads me to believe otherwise. Especially at that price. They have nothing to gain by essentially allowing people who already pay the same amount for Hulu without ads to simply get the bundle for the same price. It would also piss off a lot of people. Newly subscribed Disney+ only members and new Hulu subscribers if they don't have the option for no ads with the bundle.
If they ARE going to go that route, then it wouldn't be surprising if the current Disney+ subscribers could simply merge the two accounts or upgrade to the bundle at a consistent rate. There will probably be a lot advertising across all three that try to get people to get the bundle. Also wouldn't be surprising if it's an increased price option.

They had a buy 2 years, get the 3rd free-deal for D23 members a couple weeks ago. Not sure if that's still around.

I got the first 3 years for $3.99/month deal that they were offering a couple weeks back. They're supposed to e-mail me on/close to Nov. 12th with further instructions.

Your first month of Disney+ is binging Darkwing Duck. Money well spent.
