Assistant coordinator is like one step above PA, was that the best they could get? Also the VFX troubles with Marvel go way, way back. Black Panther was skewered with them. The volume of work is what's bringing it to the forefront. Marvel is a notoriously difficult studio to work for and work with, their reputation in the industry couldn't really get any worse than it already is.

All the drama about Jonathan Majors' Kang...they could always recast. Also, maybe don't have him get beaten by Ant-Man, of all characters, in his big debut. How am I supposed to take him seriously as a threat after that?
But I kind of expect them to just start axing anything upcoming projects that they can that are just superfluous. Like, who the hell was asking for an Echo series after Hawkeye? I've largely been silent about the shows since Ms. Marvel cause they've largely been bad. She-Hulk was terrible -- a comedy that wasn't funny -- and Secret Invasion was, like, 2/3rds or 3/4ths good...but that ending...oof. Haven't started Loki Season 2 yet. Honestly, if I were Feige, I'd stop bothering with the shows and just get back to three movies a year.

He DID just decide to start over on Daredevil again because what they had wasn't working. But he still has a looooooooot more work to do. |

If you're into the larger galaxy you better bring fantastic four to the front asap - dooms a household name - and Galactus and silver surfer can be done correctly by somebody.
Spider-Man still has a ton of life but you've gotta get the villains - and bring the fucking x men much faster to the greater MCU. You've had how long? The arrogance to slow play this after buying fox.
This is feiges greatest sin.

I don’t recall if I said it here or elsewhere, but Marvel’s post-Endgame plans makes a lot more sense with the X-Men. It’s a fresh crop of new characters they can spread throughout movies, TV, etc. They are earthbound (the minority angle) but also galactic (the Phoenix saga). And they crossover with the established characters. Storm is literally married to Black Panther in the comics. They should have taken a breather after Endgame (Sony’s Spider-Man can hold the fort for a bit) and then come back with X-Men and the Fantastic Four. I know Disney was forcing Disney Plus down their throat, but the TV shows didn’t need to be connected. The TV shows should have been standalone. |
