Watching that video made me nostalgic for Kevin Smith. Is he still around? Dude hasn’t made a movie in 15 years. Maybe longer. What was that last movie he made? The one with Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. Gigli, I think it was called. No — Jersey Girl. Yeah, that’s the one. Carlin is in it. And Will Smith for some reason. Man, that was like 20 years ago. Time flies. I think Doomsday said Kevin Smith does L.A. radio now. A true Danny Bonaduce. |

Stealth omicron been crushing the world last few weeks. 1.2x more transmissible in early lab tests. Doesn't seem to have worse outcomes yet in preliminary data.
Concert pens game concert concert almost immediately as February starts. All venues require vaccines and some still require masks, minus the pens game. Full Utah there with no masks and no mandates.

We're all good now, I was over and done with it in a few days. My wife though really bore the brunt of it, she wasn't better until about 10 days after. We just hunkered down, didn't really go anywhere, just plowed through it. She never got really bad, we didn't think she had to go to the hospital or anything but just had bad cold symptoms that didn't go away. Now we're up to speed again, I went back into an office for the first time in 2 years which I'm still not terribly happy about but hey at least it's only part time, I'm still able to work from home some days. Thanks for checking in. |

My company removed distancing stickers at our cafeteria style desks, and made our department come in 3 days a week in various rotations starting today.
I incorrectly assumed people would try and distance themselves, or not have most their team in same day.
I'm gonna give it two weeks until we start seeing people getting it on our floor.

Was listening to my radio on drive into work about decision fatigue resulting in people who either don't go anywhere to keep safe or they make reckless decisions around Covid. The whole thing is gonna take so long to balance out. |

Caught the virus myself this weekend. Mild symptoms - like a standard head cold - pretty good headache, chills, tickle in the throat and a runny nose.
Took 2 at home tests to confirm it, first one came back negative.
