Ordered the Before Trilogy Collection. Really looking forward to getting my hands on that. Have you seen the whole trilogy? It’s so good.

Before Midnight also ranked #19 on my Best of the 2010's Decade list.

I think I'm just settling for War of the Worlds this month. I do want that Bruce Lee box set though.

I don't use Letterboxd as much as I probably should, I mainly use it to track stuff I've watched these days. Some guys like our old pal Citizen Kane blows up the feed adding 800,000 movies to his watch list every day so I kinda just focus on my own stuff.

PhantomKnight I also stand by a couple recommendations if you're in the market for any Criterion blind-buying this month. The Red Shoes and Hidden Fortress, I think you'll dig either one (or both).

Out of curiosity, what do the Irishman or Marraiage Story releases offer over what you'd see on Netflix?

I'm so, so tempted to just go ahead and get The Irishman, but I'm trying to hold off on it in case a family member wants to get it for me as a Christmas gift. Maybe I'll try to subtly gauge whether or not that's still the case.

I'm already getting The Irishman from my girlfriend. And either Parasite or Amores Perros.

I didn’t know Irishman would come in the box packaging. I’m digging it.

PG Cooper did you order anything from Unobstructed view this month? And if so, has it shipped yet?

With Christmas coming I'm not sure what Blu-Rays my parents might get me so I try to cool any purchases. Granted, that didn't stop me from buying five movies at the local used movies and videogames store tonight but still.

The only bad part about this movie is the Pink Floyd ripoff by Tangerine Dream in the last scene.
Its very clearly Comfortably Numb.
Though the soundtrack as a whole is fantastic, and works real well with the cinematography.
Top movie for November for me.

Was that your first time seeing Thief? Damn that would have been an instant film club rec had I known.
I let one of my old supervisors borrow my copy and he never gave it back. It legit makes me feel a little heartbroken.

I was just in Barnes and Noble and happened to get Thief on Criterion. Yes, Doomsday, I've already seen it and quite liked it. So as long as we're talking about it, that scene in the diner where James Caan's character is talking about his time in prison has always stuck with me ever since I first saw the movie.

Apparently that's the scene James Caan is most proud of in his career.
