Great picks. I can vouch for how great the Night of the Living Dead, Strangelove, and Princess Bride criterions are. Also Thief is a rad movie.

I ordered Elephant Man, Parasite, and The Irishman. Picked up Elephant Man from Criterion's website a couple weeks ago (and just rewatched it the other day) and will also be getting The Irishman as a Christmas present. 50/50 chance I'll also be getting Parasite. It's that or Amores Perros.

Anyone on here own The Princess Bride Criterion? I keep hearing complaints about its packaging, from something about a glued-on info sheet on the back to its book shape being unwieldy for a traditional shelf, but is it really that big of a deal?

It fits fine on a shelf. Because of the adhesive used for the paper on the back, if you peel it off recklessly it can leave some residue on the back but it's not really a huge deal.

I just got it today. Honestly, it's a really awesome design and layout, and the info card on the back wasn't even glued on.
Oh, and this was a total blind-buy. I haven't seen The Princess Bride yet.

I had never seen it until my late twenties. It’s fine but it’s definitely a movie that needs to be viewed as a little kid, like Top Gun or Silence of the Lambs.
