They did one hell of a series turn and opinions on the series as a whole is probably going to depend on how it effectively shakes up the status quo. I haven't gotten into season 3 yet, because the folks I normally binge Trek with caught Covid. They've recovered and we'll get into it sooner or later. I thought season one was better than two, but I enjoyed Pike in the second season a great deal. |

I was curious if they could get Yeoh to commit to a series after an Oscar Win Price Hike. Now we know.
They also probably scaled it back to a movie because that Star Trek: Legacy idea seems to be gaining traction.
