I think mine does too. If he replaced it it was only recently.

Similar, but there's no way we'd afford a TV that big.

Similar, but there's no way we'd afford a TV that big. What qualified as a big TV has certainly changed a great deal since the 80's. My family was fortunate enough to have a Grandpa who worked at the JC Penny warehouse, and could get display models for dirt cheap. We had an enormous 26" color television cabinet in the living room that weighed about 200 lbs. How times have changed.

I mastered the first couple levels of that Ninja Turtles game. The one where you had to defuse those bombs though screwed me every time.

Here’s SnoBorderZero, circa 1991, at the wrap party for his first Hollywood movie.

I can’t speak for Doomsday but I fucking hated this show. Remember when TBS used to air every show 5 minutes late, in a dumb attempt to prevent viewers from changing the channel, and we’d have to sit through 5 minutes of Mama’s Family just to watch Saved by the Bell? Maybe this show was brilliant and 1godzillafan will show me the light, but man, who thought pairing this dumb redneck show with “hip teens” from California was a good idea? Whoever was in charge of programming at TBS in the 90’s was a monster.

Zero idea this was spoofing a real thing. My favorite Walken stuff on SNL is this sketch, not cowbell.

Doomsday I’ll never forget the opening scene of this show. Dawson asks Joey (the Katie Holmes character) to sleep over and she’s like, “nah — you get boners in the middle of the night.” I’m sure 1godzillafan still watches this show (and blogs about it) and he’ll say that scene doesn’t exist, but that’s how I choose to remember the pilot episode of Dawson’s Creek. Mandela Effect be damned.
