lol The separation of "generations" on a time spectrum where births happen consistently and constantly is ridiculous.

lol The separation of "generations" on a time spectrum where births happen consistently and constantly is ridiculous. It's hard to fully dismiss the concept. The baby boomers, for example, are very clearly defined by a post-war up-bringing that was distinctly different than that of the generation that came before and would lead to some clear generational clashes in the years to come.

Skimmed through that. What I found interesting was they cut out the "I am your father" line.

I see those Super 8 editions show up every once in a while in the rare media case of Half-Price Books. I've been tempted, but never really seen the point. While I do have a Super 8 projector, I don't think it's a model that's wired for sound. Our family Super 8 camera, like most, was a silent movie camera. Even without sound, it would have been great to have one of these as a kid.

So it's a thirty minute trailer for the real movie you can pay money for. Empire Strikes Back wasn’t released on VHS/Betamax till 1984. This was just to wet people’s appetite. And in middle school our Geography teacher played cultural documentaries on 8mm. I still remember the borderline racist one about Japan that had the whole class laughing their ass off.

Did you have the cartoon sex ed movie with the BOIIIIIINGGGGGG diveboard erection? I went to public school in Texas during the 80's. Sex ed was one week during Health class in which the horrors of HIV/AIDS and others forms of VD were taught. There was no film or video. There was what was called a film strip, which was essentially a slide show without the slides. It was various images of body parts rotting away from whichever form of VD had been contracted. There was one ancient black & white film we got in Home Economics class called How To Go On A Date, or something along those lines. It was the sort of short film that usually winds up playing before the movie on MST3K. Aside from that one, the only films we ever got were the borderline racist sorts Neverending was also watching or the last day of school Disney movie.

Did you have the cartoon sex ed movie with the BOIIIIIINGGGGGG diveboard erection? I wish. I had to sit through "The Miracle of Life" five different times in various health classes complete with the uncensored sight of a baby coming out of a hairy pussy.

Why is Dracula taking 5 different health classes? Elementary, Middle School, high school, other high school class, and the college class I took to get out of having to take a physical education class.
