Haunted Mansion, what a flop. Why they'd release it the weekend after Barbenheimer is beyond me. That movie already was facing an uphill battle to recoup its budget without competition. Not been a good summer for Disney.
Oppenheimer has now grossed more internationally than Dark Knight Rises in just two weeks. Incredible.

In retrospect one of their timed releases of it hitting Disney+ a few weeks later and releasing this in September in theaters would've been a much better idea.

OF COURSE the Meg had to come in between Barbie and Oppenheimer. All Doomsday’s fault. And SnoBorderZero, where were your Ninja Turtles, sir?? Barbie — $53M ($459.3M) The Meg — $30M Oppenheimer — $28.7M ($228.5M) TMNT — $27.9M ($43M) Next week: That new Dracula movie. The one on the boat. I believe that’s the full title. Will it start a new franchise? Monsters on a boat? PG Cooper, start working on the video essay.

Probably, like all movies right now, not the best idea to open when Barbie and Oppenheimer are still crushing it no matter if the target audiences and demographics don't exactly sync up.

Blue Beetle (or Latino Iron Man as Doomsday calls it) has dethroned Barbie after a month-long reign. Both films are from Warner Bros, so a victory for SnoBorderZero’s best friend David Zaslav. 1. Blue Beetle — $25.4M 2. Barbie — $21.5M ($567.1M) 3. Oppenheimer — $10.6M ($285.2M) 4. TMNT — $8.4M ($88.1M) 5. Strays — $8.3M Next Week: Gran Turismo I know PG Cooper is hyped.

Meg 2 has only been out a few weeks and it has already grossed more than The Flash did in its entire run.
Just leaving that info right there.

$3 Saturday gross 1. Top Gun: Maverick — $2.6M 2. DC League of Super Pets — $2.5M 3. Bullet Train — $2.3M 4. Spider-Man: No Way Home — $2.2M 5. The Invitation — $2M The 26 movies in release made a collective total of $22M. Not bad for a quiet weekend in which SnoBorderZero would have watched Gigi & Nate in an empty theater. So the $3 worked I guess. It was the busiest I've seen the theater in a wile, that's for sure. $4 Sunday 1. Barbie — $5.6M 2. Blue Beetle — $5.4M 3. Gran Turismo — $4.7M 4. TMNT — $3.3M 5. Oppenheimer — $2.6M 6. Strays — $2.1M 7. Meg 2 — $1.9M The 31 movie in release made a collective total of $32.8M. Top Gun: Maverick had the distinction of being #1 on Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend. It crossed $700M domestically and is now the 5th highest grossing film of all time in North America. Gran Turismo opened #1 with $17.4M. Barbie close behind with $15.1M. Domestic total is $592.8M. Will it cross $600M on the upcoming Labor Day weekend?

Battle of the Nun and the mustache.
Nun II in first with $14.5M ($56.3M). Haunting in Venice a close second with $14.2M.
This coming weekend is Expendables 4. We couldn’t get a Tango & Cash 2 but somehow got four of these.

I wouldn’t mind seeing The Creator next weekend. I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be Paw Patrol though.
