If there's an opening gun barrel sequence, Dracula is gonna jizz his pants. And if there isn't there's going to be hell to pay... I'm sure they'll leave it for the end.

When was the last time they used it? Has it been since the Brosnan films?

Why would there be? They fucked with it all three times, didn't they? It was integrated into Casino Royale and they put it at the END of Quantum of Solace, which was....why even bother? I don't remember how Skyfall handled it.

I don't remember how Skyfall handled it. Same as Quantum, inexplicably put at the end, ostensibly to add a 50th anniversary title card but I'm convinced it was to personally annoy me.

Hey, remember when they celebrated the 50th anniversary by using the Bond theme for a few seconds?

Critics Consensus: Spectre nudges Daniel Craig's rebooted Bond closer to the glorious, action-driven spectacle of earlier entries, although it's admittedly reliant on established 007 formula. I'm actually okay with this... Daniel Craig movies have been way too serious... It needs to learn to have fun and remember it's a fantasy spy action movie. Bring on Spectre!

Anytime Halloween falls on a Saturday, the box office is terrible. Ask Fanible if you don't believe me. That's why the #1 movie this weekend was The Martian with $11.4 million. After 5 weeks of release, The Martian is nearing $200 million domestically. Opening on Friday is Spectre and The Peanuts Movie.

Back by unpopular demand... THIS WEEK IN BOX OFFICE HISTORYIt's crazy how times change. This weekend, Sam Mendes' 2nd James Bond film is expected to dominate the box office with AT LEAST $75 million. 10 years ago, it was a different story. His 3rd directorial feature, Jarhead, opened in 2nd place with $27.7 million. It got beat by Chicken Little. The movie, based on the 1st Iraq war, never made its money back and Mendes was pretty much in career limbo until Skyfall came around. 15 years ago was a good weekend for teenage perverts like Doomsday . Charlie's Angels opened at #1 with $40 million. That's $62 million in today's cash. 30 years ago was an interesting weekend at the box office. The #1 movie was the incredibly awesome Death Wish 3. Seriously. If you haven't seen Death Wish 3, rectify that right away! thebtskink will back me up on this. In 2nd place was another awesome movie, To Live and Die in L.A., which will soon get a TV show adaptation. PG Cooper , check out that movie if you ever get the chance. And ALL the way down in 4th place was Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge. How the fuck there was ever an Elm Street 3 will remain a mystery for SnoBorderZero .

I'm going to watch To Live and Die in L.A. for the first time very soon, so you're welcome.
Well Freddy's Revenge sucked, probably terrible word of mouth buried that film. Still, you'd think it'd do better than that. Probably because Craven stepped in big time for #3 is how it got made.
Death Wish 3 was the #1 film? Wow, now that's something that would never happen today. I was disappointed in the original, thought it'd be way better along the lines of Dirty Harry or some shit. Times really do change.

Yeah, Friedkin is awesome at suspense. It's been in my queue a long time but now has finally made its way towards the top.

I don't get when people say this though. 'Daniel Craig movies aren't as fun' or 'they changed too much' or 'they don't adhere to formula.' Do you want to go back to Die Another Day? Because I sure as shit don't. I'll take 30 more Skyfalls and Casino Royales before I go back to The World Is Not Enough or View To A Kill. The Craig Bond movies legitimized Bond. They made the jump from 'James Bond' movies to 'good' movies.

I'm going to watch To Live and Die in L.A. for the first time very soon, so you're welcome. The CS! Film Club finally pays off. Yeah, Friedkin is awesome at suspense. You're bracing yourself for the wrong movie. This is a VERY 80's movie. To Live and Die in L.A. is basically Miami Vice but set in Los Angeles and with tits... and penis. Michael Mann actually sued William Friedkin when the movie came out. Friedkin also got in trouble with the U.S. government because he made REAL counterfeit money for the movie and he showed how to make it too. That scene where Willem Dafoe is making money... that shit is real. It will also remind you of the scene in Lethal Weapon 4 where they're making the fake money. Taken 3 disagrees. Death Wish and Death Wish 3 are VERY different movies. Think of Rocky and Rocky III. Or Rambo and Rambo II. Or, really, any Sylvester Stallone movie.

I love 80s movies, so I'm very up for that sleek 80s cheese. I'm looking forward to it, it'll be a fun time. Taken 3... ah fuck you have a point. So... Death Wish 3 is way shittier than the original. Got it. Because Rocky III and Rambo II are poo. Not Rocky V poo, but still poo.

I love 80s movies, so I'm very up for that sleek 80s cheese. Everyone was corrupted by the 1980's. Look what it did to Mick Jagger and David Bowie: [/quote] Netflix and chill will mean something different if you keep insulting Rocky III and IV.
