I'm really not all that excited for it, but I've gone ahead and picked up tickets for Friday in IMAX. I'll be keeping an eye on reviews from some trusted parties and if they're disappointed, I reserve the right to cancel those tickets. Not to say I won't end up seeing it, because I'll still be curious. I'll just be less keen on having paid for premium tickets if I do. I'll just wait and see it the following week for free.

There is a local Cinemark theater that very quietly finally started offering reserved seating ahead of time, but apparently a lot of people (including myself until a friend gave me a heads up) didn't know this, and all the prime seats at the prime showtimes are still open.

There is a local Cinemark theater that very quietly finally started offering reserved seating ahead of time, but apparently a lot of people (including myself until a friend gave me a heads up) didn't know this, and all the prime seats at the prime showtimes are still open. Still make sure you get there early. Whenever a theatre introduces reserved seating , people are really stupid about it. It takes about 6 months to a year for people (especially the elderly) to get the hang of it. So to avoid having to call an employee to settle a seating dispute, get there early enough to claim your seat. |
