The best theory I heard was she’s a clone of Anakin or Luke
Which makes sense since Palpatine must have done it and why Kylo was messing with her about her parents being junkies in “The Last Jedi”
Palpatine tried to get a clone version of Anakin?
Also let’s not forget the actor who plays Kylo went on record and said “I knew my entire arc for the trilogy”
Disney did have some sort of game plan. Kathleen just gave to much power over to Rain Johnson, he should have just let him direct. She let him write a screenplay and it just wasn’t that good

If they walk back on Rey being a nobody, it's either total cowardice, or The Last Jedi twist was just a big waste of time. Either way I wish Disney had stuck to their guns.

Something tells me you should get ready to call them cowards. Personally, though, I won't be upset if they do that. That was one of the elements of The Last Jedi that didn't gel with me.

I really hope they don't bring the Emperor back. Well... they definitely are, in one form or another. Why else would they bring him out on stage right after the trailer drop? Frankly, it's the only thing that piqued my interest a little. Minus that, what else would have really been left in the teaser we got? After Rian Johnson killed off Snoke and anything at all interesting that could possibly lie in wait for us in Episode 9 (what, were we supposed to be on-the-edge-of-our-seats-excited for another face-off between Rey and Kylo?), they had to pull something out of their butts. Was it a plan all along? I have my doubts. I may have preferred that they figure out a way to bring Snoke back, honestly, but I'll take this for now. |

Rey should wear her lightsaber in a angle more like Doc Holiday wore his pistol in Tombstone. She was a little slow pulling it out.
