Exploding Kittens plays fast and could be a fun simple game for almost anyone into card games.

Today I have started work on the mice adventurers for my nieces - here they are with a storm giant. Yes, I will be cross eyed by the time I finish painting

And I'm also getting the White Speaker - been waiting for about 2 years - the rest of the game is still to come

Well I got this package today!

I opened it up carefully because things were wrapped in the middle of the tee-shirt (nice black shirt with a white design on the front - and no game name or logo - which is very cool of them) got the base inserts (creepy but nice) and a bunch of pieces on a sprue - and I was thinking "wow  is this the whole model?" lol I took a closer look and I guess it is - pretty tiny lol My eyes are gonna be buggin' and my fingers are gonna be getting the dropsies.

I think I might just spray her white like the pic and leave it at that actually, looking at the pieces I think there's two different figures/poses because I'm not seeing what's in the pic above - but she will still look cool.

Got my painting supplies yesterday - now things are a bit more organized there.

Anyone here currently play Heroclix?  I used to play Heroclix tournaments religiously, but stopped about ten years ago due to conflicts with my work schedule.  Now my oldest nephew has decided he wants to take up the game, and has asked for my advice.  After giving the current version of the game a quick look, it is very clear to me that it's a very different game than it was before I quit playing.  Almost every figure has a Special Power, even the generic thugs! 

I've been playing some games with him and demonstrating some strategies using my collection of older figures (Infinity Challenge to Collateral Damage), and the few newer figures I've picked up recently.  Has anything in the game had a major change that I should be aware of, other than the proliferation of Special Powers?  Any assistance would be very welcome.

Ok so now I have the Kingdom Death Monster game yay - HUGE BOXES so I can't show you what's inside until I clear enough table space to put everything = there is a LOT of stuff in this one!

While clearing off some space on my table I ran across another game that I recently got.

This is Zero Hour - each player has  group of children who have been stranded on their way to a summer camp - they decide to look for help in their own separate directions, but run into the horrors of the night. Luck and skill will keep them safe from going insane and becoming lost to the evil that lurks about.

The box comes with the rule book, dice, character cards, sanity trackers, and The Slender Man deck. There are 11 more decks of monsters that you can try your luck against (There's one I cut off at the bottom of the pic below the two decks
