Nice. Its a lot of fun. I have about 9 or so whips at this point. Playing 2 on 2 is good. Played a couple battles last night with my nephew. We had a lot of fun with the Star Wars X-Wing Miniatures Game. It was surprisingly easy to jump into, and quickly sped up from turn to turn. Great game - definitely getting more ships, and looking into the other versions of the system

Yeah - I might just go for dragons because if I want to fly a Federation Starship I can go play Star Trek Online. The dragon figures look pretty good

Oh cool, there's a gaming store that has open tables and tournaments on a regular basis for all kinds of games - and it's just 7 miles from my place www.quarterstaffgames.com/Got a tie fighter in the mail today - two more and an advanced tie fighter, and one more x-wing coming in tomorrow

Bummer - that gaming place is upstairs - no elevator, but they do have a bulletin board for people to post messages like looking for players.
Ordered a card game called Exploding Kittens

So I picked up Red Dragon Inn and the Anniversary Edition of Ticket to Ride. So far every game I've introduced to my friends have been a huge hit.

New game to tell you about, as its quickly becoming one of my favourites: Suburbia
If you have ever played and liked SimCity, you will like this game. In Suburbia you are all building up your own towns, adding different buildings every turn. At the end of the game, you are trying to have the highest population. The great thing is that whenever you add a tile, it affects everything around it where you build it. For example, if you build a landfill by... anything you lose reputation. If you build a restaurant, you gain income, but lose income whenever newer, more hip restaurants are built. This game is great. Building up your own city is just cool, as simcity fans will tell you. You are also trying to balance your reputation and income the whole time, and as your population increases, these two things go down, so you always have to stay on top of it. There are also specific goals players are going for, like having the most residential area, having the most lakes, etc. If you get a chances, check out Suburbia.

LMFAO If you're not an old school RPGer or haven't played this particular Advanced Dungeons & Dragons adventure this will probably be over your head. I've played through this deadly adventure (the original one of course) and my paladin didn't make it through the first hallway before he fell 100 feet down a pit trap lol

Well, not over your head exactly - not the right phrase - I'm sure everyone gets the joke, but not everyone would find it as funny as I do having been through that game first hand

Got a new card game Cthulhu's Vault You play investigators searching a mystery until one player has enough points to turn into one of the Outer Gods (read: hideous monster) and the others do battle with it. Half individual play/half cooperative play story telling game.
And I finally got a new board game Dead Men Tell No Tales. You play pirates cooperating to retrieve treasure from a ship that's ablaze before it burns up and sinks - meanwhile you have to watch your fatigue level while you move around the ship, fight the fire, and kill the defending crew, to haul all the treasure off the ship and then leave alive.

I picked up the R and G rated expansions to Superfight! and got a new game A Duel Betwixt Us. Since I'm moving back home and I know my brother and sister-in-law love playing board games...I'll be having routine game nights more often.

I've heard good things about that game. I'm hoping to actually get my community involved with some tabletop/board games when I move back so I can host Tabletop day next year. I'm debating on getting Sheriff of Nottingham before or after I move.

What? Are you ashamed of my enthusiasm?
It's not geeky - it's cool. I love all kinds of games, not just board games.
It's a pretty serious hobby - that dragon is $60 unpainted

That is a lot of stuff. I'm trying to see the games on your shelf but War of the Ring is the only one I can make out. How is that one?

I love that game - it's a first edition and I think they have changed some things since then - very small print on the cards, I always have to break out the magnifying glass to read them.Only one thing is that The Dwarves come out kind of late and from the few times I've played they don't get to do much because they're all the way over in the North East of the board.
I also have the expansion (Not a stand alone game) - Battles of the Third Age. It adds more figures and rules and things to the original game and also recreates the battles of Helm's Deep and Minas Tirith on its two sided board. Both have very nice playing pieces.
