My own personal objections aside, it's very, very solid.

My own personal objections aside There's like 25 movies at this point. Most people agree on the best and worst movies. It's in the middle where all the fighting takes place.

I'm going to throw this out there to see what you Bond fans think and it might kick up a little angst but if you read the blogosphere nowadays there seems to be a little movement from people to change Bond up in the very near future. Whether it's a black Bond, a gay Bond or even a Jane Bond, and regardless of whether they're serious or whether they're just posting clickbait, many people want James Bond to break out of the white heterosexual mold.
So what do you guys think? My opinion, it seems these people care less about Bond and more about just making a statement. They don't care whether Idris Elba would actually offer a legitimately good take on the character, they only care about Bond being black because EQUALITY and IT'S ABOUT TIME. If there's an actor who would fit the bill, white, black or otherwise, go for it. If you want a black Bond just for the sake of having a black Bond because somehow in some way that will benefit minorities then get outta here.

He has like 4 Sean Connery movies in the Top 10 and most of Roger Moore's in the bottom. Like I said, most people agree on the best and worst movies. It's in the middle where the arguments are. Like, you know, he has Quantum of Solace ranking higher than On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

Yeah, if the best actor they find is black, then great, but if they just go with Kevin Hart or someone because "it's time" for a black actor, then I'll be disappointed.
But not a female Bond. James Bond is a man. That's his character.

If they really need to diversify they should just do a spinoff and call him or her 004 or something.

I've never done a Bond list before and I'll admit that, like Neverending mentioned, it gets tricky when you get towards the middle with the Bond movies I've only seen a couple times 13 years ago, but here's a quick list I've made. If you want to talk about those that appeared near the top or bottom then let's go. I've accounted for some things such as influence and their roles in the overall canon but have also factored in my personal taste and discarded 'automatic' assumptions like 'Goldfinger is #1' and 'Connery is the best Bond.'
1. Casino Royale 2. From Russia, With Love 3. Goldeneye 4. Goldfinger 5. Thunderball 6. For Your Eyes Only 7. Skyfall 8. Dr. No 9. License to Kill 10. Spectre 11. Quantum of Solace 12. On Her Majesty's Secret Service 13. The Spy Who Loved Me 14. The Living Daylights 15. You Only Live Twice 16. Tomorrow Never Dies 17. Live and Let Die 18. Octopussy 19. Diamonds Are Forever 20. A View To A Kill 21. The Man With The Golden Gun 22. Die Another Day 23. Moonraker 24. The World Is Not Enough
Notes: 1) I've grown comfortable with admitting the fact that pound for pound Casino Royale is the best stand-alone, all-around Bond movie of the canon. People can gnash their teeth all they want but it's true even though it's a more recent film and doesn't have Sean Connery. 2) I've never known why people have such a fondness for The Spy Who Loved Me. It's better than most other Moore films but it's not great, certainly not his best or anywhere near the top. 3) As I've said before The World Is Not Enough is the first Bond movie that I've actively disliked upon watching it in theaters. I'm sure there are disagreements but I have never found it to be fun, suspenseful or in any way enjoyable. Die Another Day at least knew how ridiculous it was. 4) License To Kill is a really cool movie. I don't care if it has Wayne Newton, Bond feeds a guy to a shark and kills Benicio del Toro. Anyone who thinks it's a bad movie is an idiot.

I'm rewatching On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Why does Lazenby sound like he has a sinus infection the whole time?

"Bad actor" is putting it nicely. It's because he's a hair dresser.

RANKING THE JAMES BOND PRE-OPENING CREDITS SCENE(S)#22 - LIVE AND LET DIE (1973)This is a no-brainer. James Bond isn't in it. Doomsday loves it whenever they break tradition, but sometimes they take it too far. #21 - THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN (1974)Now they're just fucking with us. #20 - SKYFALL (2012)Sorry SnoBorderZero but this is awful. Why are they stealing the plot from Mission: Impossible? Why is M micro-managing James Bond? Why is Moneypenny shooting James Bond? This is what's known as forced drama. #19 - A VIEW TO A KILL (1985)I get it. They were going full circle since Roger Moore's first pre-title scene was in The Spy Who Loved Me. But this just feels like a rehash instead of a tribute. #18 - TOMORROW NEVER DIES (1997)Ridiculous can't even describe this scene.
