Moonage daydream is borderline unwatchable. And I love Bowie.
And somehow it's so widely regarded it has received a criterion release.

In that case, there’s no doubt the Wham documentary will get a Criterion release as well.

I watched the Wham documentary this morning. Excellent. Seriously. Go watch it. My favorite part is when George Michael “transforms” from the gay guy from Wham into just gay guy George Michael. When are Doomsday and SnoBorderZero gonna make the movie? Like a week ago I slept through the American Gladiators Netflix series. Haven’t watched the 30 for 30. It’s interesting. Also watched the first two parts of the Arnold Schwarzenegger documentary. It doesn’t offer anything new but always fun to watch Arnie. Supposedly Netflix is now working on a Stallone one.

The doc gets into that. It was a set up. The filmmakers are clearly pro Amber Heard, and obviously Johnny Depp isn’t innocent either, but I think they slightly missed the whole point of this trial. Depp and Heard were terrible to each other. This should have been an arbitration instead of a media spectacle trial. And social media ate it up.

The Thriller documentary wasn’t great. They should have let Spike Lee finish the trilogy. It focused too much on the commercial success of the album. We all know Thriller is the biggest album of all-time. The Spike Lee documentaries for Off the Wall and Bad centered around the albums themselves and how they were made. We are here to celebrate the music, not Michael Jackson’s celebrity. It’s time for SnoBorderZero to use his Eddie Murphy connection to make the Dangerous documentary. Doomsday and I will pitch in. Well even get Dracula to join the team.

PG Cooper will never watch this docu-series, but it would be a lot cooler if he did. Here’s my favorite bit.

The 6-part Ted Turner documentary is excellent. I know Dracula rolling his eyes, but as a child of TNT & TBS (as is Doomsday), I’ve always been fascinated by the cartoon character that is Ted Turner. The docu-series covers his tragic upbringing. His sister died young. His father killed himself. He started in the advertising business and broke into news and entertainment with the purchase of a local station in Atlanta that evolved into TBS. From there, he bought the Atlanta Braves. He launched CNN. The Goodwill Games. He bought the pre-1986 MGM library (which included RKO and some Warner titles). He launched TNT. He created Captain Planet. Yeah, go ahead. Laugh. Amazingly, none of these ventures made any money. He ran these companies at a loss throughout the 1970’s and 80’s. Then in the 90’s, they finally broke through. The man became a billionaire. He used that capital to buy Hanna-Barbera and launch the Cartoon Network. He launched Turner Classic Movies. PG Cooper’s favorite channel. The Braves won the World Series. He marries Jane Fonda. This is SnoBorderZero’s dream life. He buys Castles Rock Entertainment and New Line Cinema. The man is on top of the world. He even considers running for the Presidency in 2000. But then AOL Time Warner occurs. Turner merges with them and is a legendary stock market disaster. He loses “everything” and goes on to life in a farm and bring back the bison from near extinction. What a life.

They'll find a way to work the Beatles in somehow. Google is telling me that George Harrison was a brother-in-law to Mick Fleetwood for four years between the latter's marriage to Jenny Boyd in 1970 and the former's divorce from Boyd's sister Patti in 1974.
