Is the documentary movie dead? Is it all "docu-series"'s from here on out? Most documentary film makers shoot hundreds of hours of footage, and wind up having to leave almost all of it on the cutting room floor. I can understand why a series would be so appealing to them. |

Really not sure why anyone would care that Russell Simmons is cancelled... dude hadn't done anything that mattered since, like, 1996 and given that his role in culture was entirely background it's not like there's even a back catalog that people are going to start pretending to dislike. He's like the most expendable #MeToo person there is. |
