Bob & Melynnda McCracken are the next Asshats.
A couple of adult cheer leading squad coaches have lost their jobs with the youth program in Alabama. It all started when one idiot wore a tee shirt with a picture of a Klansman with the words "The original boyz in the hood" to the practice - a friend of his wore one saying "white pride".
Then a woman who was one of the adults helping the squad reported him to some chairman or something and the men, who said it was done as a joke, were told not to wear the shirts to practice.
The next practice, the woman who filed the complaint was told by Mrs McCracken not to come back. It was her husband who got reported for the shirt, and apparently she holds a grudge. Mr. & Mrs. McCracken have since resigned - but the damage in front of the kids has been done in the lady's opinion and doesn't want to come back - so the kids lose out I guess because of this idiocy.

At least there are multiple drugs available to treat toxoplasmosis. All a doctor has to do is stop prescribing Daraprim. I think it's weird that there isn't a generic available. The drug has been around for a while, but I can't find info on when its patent expires.

Couch's crime and trial happened before 2014, but I guess he and his mother could be added for their escape to Mexico last month.
