Woman in Wheelchair Forced to Crawl Onto Plane — Sues American Airlines

A woman in a wheelchair who was forced to crawl onto an airplane is now suing American Airlines.

Theresa Purcell was boarding a commuter plane from San Diego to Hawaii when the gate agent told her it was too late for them to set up the wheelchair ramp.

“I was like ‘Okay, so we can’t just… the ramp is right there,’” Purcell told KHON2 News in Hawaii. “Can’t you guys just push it right here so I can get on?”

The gate agent declined to put the ramp in place, forcing Purcell, who lives with Charcot-Marie-Tooth’s disease, to get on her hands and knees.

American Airlines Sorry for Denying Wheelchair to Cancer Patient

Last week, Lisa Love was traveling from San Diego to her home near Dallas after undergoing a regular treatment for her leukemia.

“I flew in on Friday, had the procedure done, recuperated for a few days so I could fly home [Monday] morning,” Love told ABC 10.

When she arrived at the American Airlines ticket counter at Lindbergh Field airport, Love says she requested a wheelchair to help her to the gate because she felt weak and was in pain. But she said her request was not taken seriously and dismissed by the agent helping her.

“She just kind of looked and said ‘Oh, you look fine to me"

Eventually, Love says, another airport employee provided a wheelchair and she was able to make her flight home. But in Dallas, American Airlines again failed to provide a wheelchair to take her off the plane.

Yunnan resident Wang Kayui bought two "puppies" from a mysterious Vietnamese strangers a few years ago. There was apparently nothing unusual about the pets when Kayui took them home, and the animals were very well-behaved.

However, as the "puppies" grew, it became clear that something was amiss — particularly when they killed and ate Kayui's pet chickens. (The fact that they look like bears was NOT a tip-off).

This girl blew through the $90,000 her grand parents gave her for college and she has 2 semesters to go and not enough money - she spent a lot on a European vacation and clothes... doy!

Todd Fassler tried to take a selfie with a rattle snake and got served a $153,161.25 medical bill. There's only one company that makes the antivenom and apparently he used up the supply at two hospitals - that was the biggest item on his bill that came in at $83,341.25 for "pharmacy."
