I'll have to check out his review. I think most of us are in the same boat when it comes to Batman Forever because we're all within 5 years or so of each other age wise. I watched it a TON when I was a kid because it was so big and I was at the perfect age. Yup. Same here. I first saw it when I was maybe 6 or 7 and couldn't get enough of it. I watched it so much that, even now, I can still recite a number of scenes line-for-line in my head. For kids, it's the kind of movie they can watch and feel like adults. For adults...at least it's not Batman & Robin. And yet, even though I don't like it...it still oddly enough holds a certain nostalgia for me.

Even as a kid, I always thought Penguin biting the guy's nose was unnecessary.

And now we know why Bob preferred to have a ghost artist do all the work for him to take credit for. I am glad to see Bob crediting Bill Finger. It's a shame he's only doing so to discredit someone he doesn't like.

I was under the impression that didn't happen till the late 90's when Kane was on his deathbed. Stan was trying to avoid the subject because he had his own credit dispute with Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko. It's also funny to hear Stan talk about the James Cameron Spider-Man that never happened.

By 1992 Bill Finger had been dead for almost twenty years, and no members of Bill's family had turned up in the wake of 1989's Batmania demanding a piece of the pie. I suppose he felt it was safe enough to go ahead and mention Bill, especially if it was to discredit someone who was wanting a piece.

Don't forget about the tragic loss of the Cannon Films version of Spider-Man. With all their experience producing Superman IV: The Quest for Peace and Masters of the Universe, Cannon's Spider-Man would have been unforgettable.

I follow a neat Twitter user (https://twitter.com/PulpLibrarian) who shares really interesting historical tales of, well, pulp creations.
They recently did a huge thread on Roger Corman's never-released (officially) Fantastic Four. It's a must-read!
Starts here, just scroll down:

I would have loved an 80’s Spider-Man starring Michael J. Fox.

This month, Wizkids is releasing their latest Heroclix game set- Batman: The Animates Series. While most of the figures in the set are based on Batman: TAS, there are some Batman Beyond, Justice League Unlimited, and even a few Superfriends in the mix as well. link

I watched this while I was on the can, unfortunately it's just another video by a Dark Knight superfan who nitpicks things in Batman while blowing things in Dark Knight way out of proportion. I can make the exact same video about Batman, taking certain scenes and milking them for any theme or message I want to get out of it. Also much of it is just incorrect, like Joker being on par with Batman physically. And which part of the Dark Knight's ending was a masterwork? Was it when Batman tied up the SWAT team Three Stooges style? Or was it the video game walkthrough in the building? I know I know those are cheap shots, I'm only saying that you could respond to this video doing the exact same thing he does which downplays whatever you're looking to downplay while hyping up whatever you're looking to glorify.
