It seems like Mulder is a bit broken from his former self. The twinkle in his eye is gone. Did anyone watch the show Monday night called Lucifer after it.

Question: I didn't see the T-1000 episodes or the second movie. Does this season erase all of that? That's what I keep hearing/reading. I also don't remember Mulder and Scully having a kid. I stopped watching X-Files around the time of the first movie, so my knowledge of the show isn't as great as Jibbs or Dracula . |

Their son was either season 8 or 9, 9 I think. |

Not sure about the last two episodes. The trash man one seemed to be a call bcak to the gross-out episodes, which I never really liked. And the juxtaposition with Scully's mom didn't work very well.
The last one was alright, but some of the writing was really preachy, like Chris Carter was desperately trying to "modernize" the X-files.

I'm on the fence. I liked the b-agents, and the line dance trip with Lone Gunmen cameos.
On the down side, really no plot, and unnecessary usage of The Lumineers.

I liked the alien conspiracy episodes. I wasn't really a fan of the standalone ones - especially the one where they rip-off The Thing. |

After rewatching them, I have a certain affinity for those episodes. And actually, some of the alien ones went down in my estimation after a rewatch. Conduit and Deep Throat especially.
