Apparently this guy visited the nightclub at least a dozen times. If he hated gays so much, why bother going in the first place? He even visited gay dating sites. Either he did this to scope the place out, if thats the case, this shooting was planned months, maybe years in advance. Or maybe he himself was turning gay and he hated it,therefore taking his hate out on the people in the club. Who knows

What i want to get clear is I dont think Just Muslims can be blamed for Gun Violence in the United States. Especially American Muslims. We cant seal the borders with large walls in like Judge Dredd movies. I believe gun violence i a problem for all races really but seems too me Gun Violence was a bad thing in this county before 9-11.
This Country worst serial murderers were white men. Trumps stand on shipping all people back. Here is that problem we are a country that declares welcome too this country. Do these things and you can be free citizens. Im sure the Indians wish they had immigration.

I get the sentiment, but let's be real here, they don't talk about the victims because the victims in these things aren't that interesting. It makes sense to wonder what kind of personality would be driven to mass murder, it also makes sense to not be wildly interested in the personalities of a bunch of people who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, the media paradigm exists for a reason. |

Link to the article if anyone is interested. Speaking of which... the same weekend the shooting happened, that girl from The Voice was murdered at a meet and greet. Both happened in Orlando. I kinda feel bad for the girl cause the mass shooting made her story irrelevant. And it shouldn't cause it's part of the same problem. Meet and greets. Nightclubs. Schools. Stores. Movie theaters. People are getting killed at the most random places. We have security issues, mental health issues and gun control issues to take care of. I'm not sure Trump OR Hillary are the ones to do it. And our congress is a joke. We need to fire everyone in Washington and hire the right people. But that ain't gonna happen while candidates like Bernie Sanders struggle to win elections. |

Tell you the truth I forgot all about her, her story is not getting much coverage. You're right I think if we take care of the mental health issues that would stop a lot of gun violence, the other stuff also but I believe mental health plays a huge role.

One thing I want to tell some of my facebook friends is that it really defeats any knee-jerky argument they want to make if they don't know the difference between automatic weapons vs. other weapons. I saw a few people share a petition that had over 11,000 signatures that said 'Ban the sale of automatic weapons.'
If you don't know the difference, please do yourself a favor and learn before posting anything regarding gun control.

Warren is a gamble though, if she is the VP pick it's possible her Senate seat could roll to the GOP which wouldn't be good at all for the Democrats who are trying desperately to regain some control of Congress.
