his supporters are racist Trump attracts racists - and even panders to them - but I don't think most of his supporters are racists. Is it possible to get the Republican nomination by ONLY getting racist voters? That would be like saying that Obama became President because only Black people voted for him. The SNL sketch was "clever" because it presented both sides. Most Trump supporters do believe that he's a great business man who'll create better jobs - and they also like that he "keeps it real" and is a political outsider. But are those good enough reasons to ignore the outlandish stuff he proposes? Even if you aren't racist - or sexist - you kind of become one by association. In other words, his supporters wouldn't burn a cross in someone's backyard, but if someone else was they wouldn't hesitate to stop and roast a marshmallow over it.

I'm sure there were people who voted for Hitler who didn't hate the Jews, but didn't like them enough to care what happened to them. That's more of what I was aiming for.

Senator Byrd was a real racist and a member of the KKK and he served in the senate until crocked. Byrd had too have gotten african american votes. My point is there tons of dirty rich politicans. You would think trump could cover things up better but he just seems not to care what they know. Trump igo believes he cannot lose. And if he is president we will be in some war before he is there a year.

Ted Cruz has the most punchable face. Literally looks like a weasel.

Trump and Clinton won Florida. That's 99 delegates for Trump and 214 for Clinton. Clinton has 1,353 in total. She's less than half way from getting the nomination. Trump, surprisingly, isn't too far ahead from Cruz despite winning most states.

Trump won Illinois, Missouri and North Carolina. Kasich won Ohio. Clinton won Illinois, North Carolina and Ohio. Sanders won Missouri.
Rubio is dropping out, I guess. I thought he was more tolerable than Cruz and Trump. Kasich is probably sticking around in case the Republicans do something crazy like deny Trump the nomination.
Sanders is in trouble. Clinto has over a thousand delegates and almost 500 super delegates. The nomination is hers. Let's face it. Only a miracle, or shenanigans, can rescue Sanders.

I guess there's New York and California. I can see California being radical enough to vote for Sanders... but New York? Keep in mind that New York CITY and New York STATE are not the same thing. California's primary is in June. I guess Sanders has till then to change things.

It's pretty crazy that he got as far as he did, if he had just found a way to win over minority voters he just might have won.

Obama put her in his staff - even though they probably don't like each other. So why not pass on the good will and give Sanders an invitation?

I don't see Sanders being a "team player" the way Clinton was. Even if she could reign him in and keep him from going rogue the fact is that he's more into having a "vision" than pounding out specific policies. Also, I suspect that Sanders would be better off bringing his fight back to the Senate, where he's have more power and influence after winning all these votes than he would working some weird cabinet post.

True... but since Sanders is so popular with teenagers who don't vote and want to give them free college, he'd be ideal as Secretary of Education a/k/a the Head of the U.S. Education Department.

I agree it is an uphill climb for Sanders, but actually he's only about 86 delegates behind Clinton. All those superdelegates are not locked in until the convention.

I think what Obama is going to have to do is nominate the blandest most moderate person he can stomach, a real Sandra Day O'Connor/Anthony Kennedy, and say to the Republicans in congress "this is the best you're going to get, you can try to block him if you want but just wait until you see who Hilary appoints... ball's in your court." Called it

Yup, and the Republican resistance to a centrist nominee just goes to further prove they're being obstructionists. They claim it's "the will of the people", but they need to do their jobs and stop fucking around.
