Hilary is just so full of shit, she talks left but lives right and is so out of touch. Why anyone would vote for her over Sanders is beyond me. She's not a strong leader and has failed in nearly each position she's held, plus her debacle in handling the Benghazi situation should be evidence enough that this job is way out of her league.

That and she already left her Secretary of State position over health reasons.
I know someone who says they'll vote for her just because she's a woman (I guess that seems sane compared to voting for Trump - because he's an idiot)

No. That's not sane in comparison.

He resigned due to not having enough time in the day to apply his bronzer.

Interesting Ted Cruz was born on December 22, 1970 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
I don't care if his mother was American and that he renounced his Canadian citizenship - he still shouldn't be able to run for president because he was born in Canada and lived there his first 4 years of life.

Who ever replaces Boehner will almost certainly be even closer to the lunatic fringe. This is not a good thing.

Also consider that the Republicans have a pretty massive majority in the House. Whoever the next Speaker is will probably be there for a long, long time.

Sorry not worded correctly. I would not vote for Bernie Sanders because I have a basic understanding of economics and how he can't pay for what he is promising.
I also wouldn't vote for him because his foreign policy ideas are shit.

He said taxes re going to have to be raised (that's bound to happen anyway - and anyone who says they're going to lower taxes is just doing that to get votes - and after that guess what happens? They have to raise taxes to make up for lost revenue) but there are things that will cost less and budgets trimmed that will offset some of the cost of changes that are necessary and good for all. By the way - he also wants to revise the tax structure so everyone is paying a fair share - doing that will also offset extra expenses with more revenue. And tax percentages were basically higher (than what Sanders is thinking) back under the Eisenhower Administration.
One major thing he wants to do is put people to work fixing bridges and roads - this country's infrastructure has been crumbling for decades - putting people to work will also boost the economy. Also Military spending should be down a bit - Sanders won't put the troops into war - unless everything else fails. Using the troops must be a last resort measure.
What don't you like about his foreign policy?

Out of both sides i think the best ticket would be Biden vs Huckabee cause those two are only ones id vote either way on. Would not go vote for Trump or HIlary. What they know about being poor.

I don't think we want an Evangelist president - Huckabee would be terrible for the US He thinks with his emotions (like Trump) and won't be able to separate church and state (Trump's problem would be he won't be able to separate his head from his ass) - look how he's supporting that clerk Davis and her breaking the law

I like Sanders a lot as a public figure but I'm under no delusion that he'll ever get the nomination or that he'd have any shot of winning in a general election. Also, I don't know, I just don't really see him as a national leader. We all like to think that whoever has the best ideas should be president, but the truth of the matter is that the job has less to do with policy and more to do with the ability to sway people, act as a figurehead in foreign affairs, and just generally act as the country's mascot and I just don't see Sanders doing any of that. Also, I don't see him being the kind of guy who's going to be able to make the painful compromises that the job requires. I have the same basic problem with Biden. Maybe there's more to the guy but he's also lacks discipline and just says a lot of dumb things... he's the liberal George W. Bush. O'Malley, by contrast, certainly has the look and feel of a President but did a handful of shady things in Baltimore that give me pause... I'm in wait and see mode with him... when he finally says or does something that someone cares about I'll reassess. As for Hilary... well, I won't say she doesn't have a chance to win me back but I've had serious issues with her going back to the 2008 primaries and given that her campaign this time around has been a complete horror show I'm pretty concerned. Frankly I'm shocked that no one else has entered the field, there should be plenty of time and there definitely seems like room for more.
Oh, but just to be clear, in a general election I'd still vote for any of these clowns over any Republican without hesitation.

The The republican Candidates cant be taken as series if ask me. Trump, Bush Number 3 and even Christy Flakes is running. But i also say unless Bill is the brain Trust I would never vote for hilary and my dads grave would spin if voted for a Hilary.

Hilary had her best chance last time - she's too damaged now. I think Sanders in office would be a refreshing change - and if everyone who said, "I'd vote for him, but he can't win." Did vote for him - he Would win.
The republican field is a joke this time - they need to stop and look at what could really save their party, and evolve to survive. The only people I see voting republican are the rich, the people who believe they're holier than thou, or people who always vote republican no matter what.
In any case, people in this country have to stop being so polarized and voting for people who don't know how to work together either.

I sometimes see acquantainces or people on the internet bemoaning that Obama the President isn't like Obama the candidate they voted for. Good thing he isn't.
As a candidate he was show ponies, unicorns, and no substance. As a President he's been pragmatic, willing to compromise and practical. His foreign policy, mainly the influence of Biden I believe, has been great. And I don't care what anyone says, drones are awesome.
Bernie Sanders, on the other hand, is no substance. His plan doesn't pay for itself within even 10 years. Hes farting rainbows and puking Leprechauns. As a general rule of thumb, candidates falling back on rah rah populism are full of shit and just saying it for votes.
That being said, Sanders is probably the third least shitty candidate right now, and I'd still have him over probably any of the Republican candidates.

Everyone who gets in there promises stuff that they find out just can't be done once they actually get the job and learn all the inside stuff. At least Sanders has a lot of experience working with people on Capitol Hill. Sanders has been in politics since 1971 and Was elected Mayor of Burlington VT in 1981, 83, and 85, and 87. US Representative in 1990 - 2004, Senator since 2006. Obama was a state senator for 7 years and a US senator for 3 years.

What does Bernie Sanders have except the empty promises which could never happen and could never be paid for? I get why some find him so appealing, but I can't escape the nagging suspicion they're being hoodwinked.
