The house is on track to pass the stimulus bill around March 8th so the "where are the checks?" people have about nine more days of pretending to not understand how the legislative process works before they can move on to their next bad faith argument. 

There's still plenty of time to negotiate the $15/hour thing (which was the main thing holding up their precious checks) in the future, and the Syria bombing sounds like a pretty routine response to rocket attacks.

Remember when George W. Bush’s tenure as President ended, how the Republicans pretended he didn’t exist? They’d rather have Clint Eastwood talk to an empty chair than invite W. Bush to a convention. Why is Trump still around? Why is he still be celebrated by the base? Oh — cause they’re confident they’ll win the midterm elections and perhaps even take back the Presidency in 2024. Biden and the democrats are being pussies as usual. We need real progressive politicians like AOC and Bernie to be put in charge. People that have guts and fight back. Democrats have the House, Senate and Presidency and they’re being passive as hell. Meanwhile, Trump is back on Fox News spewing his usual bullshit as if nothing’s changed. I want Biden & Kamala to get off their ass and go fight. Get. Shit. Done. Call out all the asshole Republicans. Fire up your base. Impeach Ted Cruz. Pass legislation. This isn’t the time to fall asleep behind the wheel. You have two years — two — to get shit done.

There's still some hope.  The main issue right now is that Manchin etc want it to either be lower than 15 or want there to be a longer phase in.  Once there's a consensus around a different number the procedural issues can probably be overcome one way or another (wouldn't be shocked if they even manage to get some Republicans on board, possibly with some sort of other concession that people won't like).  Trying to fit it into reconciliation on the stimulus was probably doomed from the start and likely was done as a Hail Mary in order to show the more leftist caucus that they tried and convince them that some concessions will be needed.  That or they can maybe try to pass it as a tax incentive rather than a "law."
