Diesel turns to sludge in cold weather... None of the diesel generators powering the electrical grid were weatherized. The only people with power in some areas are those that have solar panels.
We all knew texas was going to blame the green tech (look for more taxes on green tech in the very near future in texas) but it's amazing how quickly they are all jumping on board.
Maybe the gop utopia of unregulated utilities isn't such a utopia after all?

A lot of that is going to be hard enough to do as it is. Biden already said no to 50K in student loan forgiveness and if he issues an executive order to forgive 10K he'll absolutely be barraged with legal challenges. |

A year into this mess. Plus, tax refunds are gonna be ass this year. Typically, this time of year, people are hyped for their refunds. They look forward to it — depend on it. But that ain’t happening this year. I’m sure there’s people who never even went back to work. That stimulus check is more important now than ever. |

A bill like that can easily gain bi-partisan support, since Republicans love any bill that involves buying weapons, and Raytheon has factories in loads of blue states. Of course Biden is in favor of it. |
