Beyond Fauci, being able to fire civil servants is a terrible idea, and I believe against an act of congress. It'll go to courts, or in the better scenario rescinded if Biden wins. |

The pessimistic conspiracy theorist in me views this as Trump trying to do as much damage to the country as possible before he loses the election because he's bitter that Biden could win.

Anyone else really worried about next Tuesday? There's gonna be a sham somehow? It's weird, in 2016 in the days running up to the election I think a lot of Republicans, Trump supporters or otherwise, were like 'well we lost this one' but then they were as shocked as anyone at the outcome. This time around though a lot of Biden supporters are 100% certain Biden is going to win based on polling and a lot of Trump supporters are 100% certain Trump is going to win polls be damned. Either way the days after the election are going to be ugly. |

What's really been worrying me lately is that even if Biden wins, if the Democrats don't take the senate it will still be at least two years of absolute hell as the bastards refuse to so much as approve a single cabinet position. |

Whoever wins, this whole shitshow won't be over for a while. There will be fallout from either side. Biden's fallout will just be shorter than Trump's because at least he considers a pandemic an actual threat.
