Wyldstaar So is Bill Finger's family finally getting money or is he just getting an empty credit? Not any money that I'm aware of. Bill only has one living relative at the moment, a granddaughter who was born after he died. The only reason she knows anything about her grandpa's legacy is because the folks who championed him contacted her. I suspect the main reason DC/WB is willing to give Finger the credit he deserves is because it's not going to cost them anything. I'm unaware of any payments still going to Bob Kane's estate either, for that matter. No amount of money to Bill's next of kin is going to change the past, and the fact of the matter is that Finger never bothered to make an issue about his contributions to Batman while he was alive.

Bill Finger died in 1974. There was nothing to fight about back then.

Terrible trailer. Goofy as hell and Eisenberg looks awful. I really hope it isn't too indicative of how the actual film is.

I've always thought this movie was going to be a turd. Not one thing has occurred or been released to convince me otherwise, this trailer included.

I'm not entering haterdome yet. I still have hope, but this trailer really pushes the influence of the lighter and more joke heavy superhero films. What I like about movies like Man of Steel is the offer an alternative to that. More importantly, the humour shown here sucks.

Doomsday should have been saved for the movie reveal... This looks so terrible.. Dooms looks like abomination from "the Incredible Hulk"

I'm still massively excited for this movie, but this particular trailer was just headscratching in the way everything was cut together. The tone of this one feels off from everything else we've seen of this movie up until now, and by the end, I was just left saying, "...Okay..." Why is Jesse Eisenberg acting like The Joker and/or The Riddler? And goddamnit, why did we need to see Doomsday? Why not save that for the actual movie? Anyway, right now, I just think this is a poorly-cut trailer and I'm not going to get too concerned about the final product.

DC needs to take a cue from Marvel films and build up to the "big fights". Marvel is putting all the pieces together for the big cosmic encounter with Thanos, all the while slowly introducing new characters. The Man Of Steel, in my opinion, should not have had Zod right away. Doom-Zod is an inane concept. I hope they don't mess up Darkseid.

I'm still hoping for the best... But at the same time I know they have worked really hard on the fight between supes and bats. So I guess they aren't too keen with the fight with dooms.
Also this movie is clogged with too many characters... Introducing wonder man, dooms, and lex Luther to the main story line... We're all going to scratching heads to what WB was thinking come March.
The reason Man of Steel worked because it was given a story line for superman to grow and understand his powers...

Don't forget Aquaman. He's also in the movie. Also, Man of Steel didn't work. It didn't work at all. Like Doomsday , I've always been cautious about this movie. I have very little faith in Zack Snyder. I'm more hyped for the Ben Affleck directed Batman movie. THAT should be interesting.

My mentality after seeing the Man of Steel stink-fest.
Media: 'They're making another Superman movie.' Doomsday: 'Eh.' 'And it's going to be Superman vs. Batman.' 'Nope.' 'It's a set-up for Justice League.' 'Nope.' 'And the new Batman is going to be....Ben Affleck!' 'Nope.' 'But don't worry, Lex Luthor is going to be....Jesse Eisenberg.' 'Nope.' 'And Wonder Woman is going to be in it.' 'Nope.' 'But now one of the villains is going to be Doomsday.' 'Nope.'
Like I said, not one thing clicked with me or intrigued me. Everything sounds like a really bad idea. I'll stick with Captain America 3.

Also, if they really want to do Doomsday right they should make a Death of Superman trilogy, not shoehorn him into another already stacked movie.
