MCU Spider-Man is basically Daniel Craig James Bond. You know how Craig’s 007 began as a Jason Bourne clone and over time re-adopted its familiar tropes? This is essentially what’s going on with MCU Spider-Man. It started as Tony Stark Jr and it’s now Spider-Man.
That may come as a surprise to those expecting this movie to be “Sonyverse” diarrhea. It is that, and honestly, that stuff is great. But the movie is shockingly very focused on its emotional beats and character arcs. This is very much the closing chapter of the MCU Spider-Man and the beginning chapter of, well, Spider-Man. And I certainly look forward to it.
Overall, it’s a good movie. I enjoyed it. Is it great? Nah. But then again I was never big into MCU Spider-Man. If that’s your cup of tea, you’ll like it more than I do. Even with all the Sonyverse stuff.

Still processing.
A lot of the characters felt off, the cgi was a mess, but the second half on felt right. They nailed a ton of emotional beats, and while MCU Spider-man hasn't felt like Spider-Man his entire run, the basic plot device here is the most Spider-Man thing I can imagine.
I'm at a 7/10 now. Liked it a little less than Shang Chi.
May change on a rewatch.

I can't go so far as to say best Spider-Man movie ever, but I definitely think it's the best MCU Spidey film, one of my favorite MCU movies and just one of my favorite movies of the year, period.

That was an enjoyable time. Not everything worked, but it was fun to see the whole gang together. Prob my favorite of the MCU Spider flicks.

Had a good time with it. I liked it better than all the MCU movies of this and last year for sure.
All marvel movies should be team ups moving forward. Period. Solo movies are so boring.
Might see it again if theres an opportunity to.

I liked the Charlie Cox/Matt Murdoch cameo. The laughing at Doc Ock's name felt forced. Good flick overall, though.
