You know what wouldn't cost $1500?
A new Bond box set.

If it's a hundred movies that's $15 a pop, which ins't horrible, especially if you can get it below MSRP somewhere. But it's not a complete set and also isn't 4K, so that's a bit less impressive.

That's a pretty huge, impressive set. I wonder what the price tag is? But.... movies dont have their own cases. Trash! Some of us don't have enough space for every movie to have it's own case. A large portion of my library has been consolidated into custom cases to economize on shelf space. As for this set, it's something I'll consider once a price is revealed. I really wish publishers wouldn't include their little bonus items to drive up the price, like the crystal mouse ears in this case. I don't give a pair of fetid dingo's kidneys about them. My Batman: TAS box set came with a pair of awful miniature Funko Pops. I HATE those stupid things! EDIT: $1,500!?!?! Screw that!

And the noticeable omission of Song of the South. Song of the South and the original Star Wars trilogy are keeping the VCR business alive.

I see the Song of the South laser disc turn up at vintage stores occasionally for a small fortune. The laser disc version of the original Star Wars trilogy is available on DVD as an official release.

The laser disc version of the original Star Wars trilogy is available on DVD as an official release. Fans have complained about the video quality. I watched it, ages ago, when I still had a tube tv and thought it was okay. I’d imagine it’s a monstrosity on a 4K TV.
