I would like more Mickey, Donald, and Goofy on blu-ray personally. The scans on the Celebrating Mickey blu-ray are gorgeous. Are you excited for the Gamera set? If I can afford it, yes. I did waste money on a burner that's a piece of shit and I need a new car. Otherwise I have the Mill Creek blu-rays and Gamera the Brave on DVD and those will do.

The steelbook set is exciting because we FINALLY get each movie in its OWN DISC!!!
Not that, you know, things like this bother me...

I do like how they make out the DeLorean. But usually I don't go steel and probably won't now.
Though there is a set with a hoverboard that sounds interesting.

The covers are indeed awful. They should have just paid Mondo for the rights to use their poster art, instead of cheap Photoshop crap.

Okay, I don't know if anyone is as anal about their movie collections a I am, so this topic idea may fall flt. But I will propose it anyways.
What "fixes" would you like to make to your collections? For example, I would like my Lord of the Rings blurays to have both the theatrical and extended included (sounds like I MAY get my wish soon). I would also like My community box set to be six cases (1 season per case) instead of 3 cases (2 seasons per case).
Oh, and I would like the heights of my digibook cases to be the same as all other blurays. The fact that they are just slightly taller drives me nuts.

Does anyone know a good way to mass sell DVDs?
I'm looking for a balance between amount of money and ease. Maybe weighted towards ease.

Half-Priced Books is usually my go-to place of pawning off DVD's I've upgraded. Walk in with a box, they spend twenty minutes pricing them and make you a take-it or leave it offer and pay in cash. You won't get the best price in the world, but it could be worse. Not sure what they're doing during COVID.

I don't think I'm too anal about my disc collection. I think the only thing I'd like to change about it is compiling my MST3K discs into chronological order instead of volume order so I could find episodes easier. Sometimes I want to put a certain episode on and I'm like "Uhhhhhh...which volume was that again?" But to "fix" that would take a huge project of fan made DVD cases and custom art and whatever. I sometimes wish all the episodes came in the Shout Factory slim cases so I could just take them out of the boxes and put them in whatever order I need to without going into too much hassle. At any rate, I'm trying to find ways of condensing my bootlegs of unreleased episodes onto blu-rays and little compact cases. The volumes will likely stay as is, though.

When I was younger I had a daydream where Shout would sell and empty MST box set that you could buy for like 50 bucks or something and insert your purchased discs into. When they first got the Power Rangers license they released a huge box shaped like the Red Ranger helmet, and while the discs came with it they had empty slots for separately purchased discs of Power Rangers: The Movie and Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie. Only since I have the entire collection, I would just need the box. If I gave them a wishlist, it would be for something like that.

There are SO many things I want to fix. Multiple things on every shelf, wouldn't even know where to start. Like, what the hell is taking them so long to put out 4Ks of Panic Room and The Abyss? I'd even take blu-rays of them at this point. It drives me crazy that my Cameron and Fincher collections are still being defiled by DVDs.

Since I just got a whole slew of Criterion Blus....why do those cases need to be slightly thicker than regular Blu Ray cases? So far, when I've put those on my shelves (I have one of those shelves made up of separate spaces where you can fit 15-20 Blu Rays in each space), I've had to clear room by shifting down two Blu Rays instead of one, which is what I typically do for a regular-sized case. It has to be two to fit in a Criterion, otherwise they get packed in incredibly tight.
I want to keep things simple. I want to only have to move down one Blu Ray per space when I add a new addition to the shelves. Recently, I've been going through and taking out ones I can do without/don't like anymore as a way to make more room, but I think I've used up all those expendable titles.
So I guess my fix would be making Criterion cases regular-sized. Like, when the time comes to put Do The Right Thing on my shelf, that's going to be a pain. That's the first Criterion I'd put in slimmer packaging.

I've got a Criterion only shelf. I haven't quite decided how to organize it, spine number doesn't make much sense because the directors are all spread out but it's also kinda tough organizing by filmmaker because there are so many one-offs. If you guys have suggestions I'm all ears.

Okay, first I want to say that I love the passion about minute details. This is exactly what I'm looking for. I actually like the extra thickness of the Criterions though. I find the varying heights are much more visually offensive.
I get what you are saying about the shelf-shifting though. Again, love the nitpicking.
