Well, to be fair, the new set has 12 movies and not 11.

Got my Jaws 4K set today. Looks like a really good package, though I'm not too fond of lenticular covers.
Also bought Short Treks and Watchmen while I was out. I'll get to those when I finish off Picard, Twilight Zone, and Swamp Thing (maybe Doom Patrol too).
And pre-ordered One Cut of the Dead weeks ago. That one should come by mail.

Well, to be fair, the new set has 12 movies and not 11. Is that twelfth movie worth paying the other $124? Honestly, I do like Gamera the Brave a bit more than most Gamera movies. But this is a pretty loaded, non-Mill Creek set. I'm interested, but I like Gamera only a fraction of my love for Godzilla. Paying more for a Gamera blu-ray set than I did Criterion's Godzilla set is hard to justify for me. But it's Arrow. All of their stuff is expensive.

Why does Universal insist on always releasing Back to the Future as a trilogy set?

Why does Universal insist on always releasing Back to the Future as a trilogy set? Because Hollywood studios love trilogies. Three is their magic number. Blame Emperor Lucas.

Why does Universal insist on always releasing Back to the Future as a trilogy set? Because there are zero people who want to buy Back to the Future 3 on UHD without also buying one and two.

I hate box sets. Even if each movie had its own disc in the box set I'd be happy. But they're always all together in the same case.

I'm tempted, but I'm also tempted to wait until a standard set sans Funko Pop is made that's much less pricy.

All three volumes of Looney Tunes Platinum Edition on Bluray are cheaper than this Bugs Bunny set. It's paying extra money for an ugly Funko Pop and a documentary that will be on YouTube in a year or two. It's an easy pass.

I would like more Mickey, Donald, and Goofy on blu-ray personally. The scans on the Celebrating Mickey blu-ray are gorgeous.
