People in my life loved the Snyder Cut. I now know what PG Cooper felt when he was the only jackass that hated Joker.

So I do have to say it does alleviate many of the issues I had with J the first time around. But if it needed 4 hours to do so, I can't help but wonder what kind of an accomplishment that is. The climax was certainly more climactic and the pacing and tone issues were smoothed out a bit. That epilogue was awful though.

Not all it's cracked up to be, is it? I'll say this, the movie has been growing on me a bit. I'm still not sure it's really "good", but the best elements are what stick out in my memory.

Infinity War is the best (by a decent margin). Snyder Cut is the worst (by a wide margin).
I'd also go against the grain and say the first Avengers is the worst Avengers movie and one of the weaker MCU movies overall.

Infinity War Endgame Snyder Cut Avengers 1 Whedon Cut Ultron
Might be letting my inner troll out on that last one, and I haven't watch The Avengers since 2012 so recency bias might be getting to me there.

Though honestly, it's pretty close between 2 and 3 for me personally...for different reasons.

This was atrocious. I haven't seen the Whedon version, but it sure seems like a lot of people are overreacting to this version being marginally better and praising it as a success.
This is a film that has no rhythm, pacing, flow, or reason to anything occurring. It becomes parody after Snyder resorts to yet another outlandishly executed slow-motion sequence set to cornball music pieces.
None of the characters work, especially Batman. Cyborg and The Flash bring the only semblance of narrative cohesion and heart to this mind numbingly dull ordeal.
Villain is another carbon copy of the same old. A low-rent Thanos.
CGI was all over the place, but mostly looked awful.
Humor fails every time with a resounding thud.
Action is stilted and overly done on green screens. One person attacks Steppenwolf, he thwarts them, next it's next hero up, rinse, repeat. Where's the fun to be had? This is just a dour, self-absorbed affair with no life or intrigue.
Just because a film is 4 hours doesn't mean that it's richer in content. This movie never gets off the ground because it has no pacing or economy in telling its story. Compare how this piece of shit movie spends 4 hours of running time compared to what Endgame accomplishes in 3 and it's just not even close.
4/10

And I never want to hear anyone complain about the ending to Return of the King ever again after suffering through that bullshit epilogue in this movie. What the fuck was that?

Why the hell does Wonder Woman have that absurd music cue EVERY TIME SHE DOES ANYTHING!?
Why do we have a slow motion insert of Amy Adams placing a cup of coffee on a rail in the rain?
Why does the driver of a semi truck search for a burger under his seat for several city blocks without looking up? Other than narrative contrivance of course. I mean I know it was probably Shake Shack and he paid for extra bacon, but come on man.
Why? Why? Why?

Why the hell does Wonder Woman have that absurd music cue EVERY TIME SHE DOES ANYTHING!? Fanboys talked so much shit about Danny Elfman, only for Junkie XL to show up with that bullshit. lol. And why repeat that scene a million times? That whole scene was fucking stupid.

Can anyone tell me why Batman was even in this movie? Did he contribute anything? Oh, he "assembled" the team lol. Good job, buddy, way to feel like part of the group!

Batman has always been largely useless in the Justice League. In the comics and in the 2000’s animated series they justified his inclusion by making him the antagonist of the group.
