Three StoogesSo Long Mr. Chumps Dutiful But Dumb All the World's a Stooge Time Out for Rhythm I'll Never Heil Again An Ache in Every Stake In the Sweet Pie and Pie Some More of Samoa Dutiful but Dumb has great routines with the Stooges trying to develop photographs, Curly pretending he's a radio to fool the bad guys, and Curly eating oyster stew. All the World's a Stooge has a great opening where they're dentists. I'll Never Heil Again is a lesser, but decent, sequel to one of the best Stooges shorts ever made. An Ache in Every Stake has the Stooges doing a routine similar to Laurel and Hardy's The Music Box, where they try to get an ice block up several flights of stairs on a hot summer's day without it melting. Time Out For Rhythm is the odd duck here, because it's just a feature film with the Stooges in supporting roles. I've only seen it once about ten to twelve years ago. I remember it being okay enough, but not memorable.

MASH immediately comes to mind. Bold counterculture movie. Maybe something like The Vampire Lovers given it's B-horror movie with lots of violence and boobs.

Airport — Before Airplane shit on the genre, a chance to experience it in its purest form with a receptive audience. The AristoCats — Back when good ol’ fashioned Disney racism was still tolerated. Plus, who can pass up jamming to Everybody Wants to be a Cat in an auditorium filled with annoying children? Beneath the Planet of the Apes — Charlton Heston had the right idea. Blow up the goddamn planet. Beyond the Valley of the Dolls — Don’t quit your day job, Roger. The Bird with the Crystal Plumage — Here’s one film critic that could actually make good movies. Bloody Mama — Hey, who’s that Bob De Niro guy in the shitty Roger Corman movie? Think he’ll have a career like Peter Fonda? Chariots of the Gods — “Documentary” asking the big question: did aliens build ancient Egypt? Cause, you know, hard to believe a bunch of slaves would be tortured & killed to build a bunch of pyramids. Hopefully, this is playing at some white college. El Topo — This’ll be a fun one to watch with an audience. Five Easy Pieces — 1godzillafan, is this the one in which Sally Struthers shows her tits? Hercules in New York — Watching this one with SnoBorderZeroHi, Mom! — Some weirdo sex pervert movie from Brian de Palma & Robert De Niro. SnoBorderZero & I will watch this as a double feature with Hercules in New York. Investigation of a Citizen Above Suspicion — Did PG Cooper ever get around to watching this? Kelly’s Heroes — Perfect one to take PG Cooper to. He doesn’t know Clint Eastwood made movies before Unforgiven, let alone star studded ones. Let It Be — That incredibly awkward Beatles documentary. Great one to watch in the heat of the moment. Love Story — Love means never having to say you’re sorry. M*A*S*H — with a rowdy hippie audience Patton — with a rowdy conservative audience Rio Lobo — I bet Doomsday forgot about this one. Start the Revolution Without Me — After the Producers but before Gene Wilder really broke out. They Call Me Trinity — Spaghetti Western Classic Tora! Tora! Tora! — Would be interesting to watch with audiences of that time. The Twelve Chairs — After the Producers but before Mel Brooks really broke out. Two Mules for Sister Sara — Classic Eastwood Woodstock — Going to Woodstock without actually going to Woodstock.

He doesn’t know Clint Eastwood made movies before Unforgiven, let alone star studded ones. I remember that movie being mostly okay. It clearly wants to be The Dirty Dozen but isn't on that level.

Well, I could go to the premiere of Jurassic Park
...or, I could go to the premiere of Super Mario Brothers and watch as people start going "what the hell is this?"

Body of Evidence — Madonna & Green Goblin doing their version of 50 Shades. Matinee — Joe Dante’s love letter to William Castle Homeward Bound — One of my childhood favorites. Wore out the VHS. Groundhog Day — Should we watch this in a loop? Army of Darkness — U.S. release was in ‘93. This is certainly one to watch with a fun late night crowd. Benny & Joon — GREAT Johnny Depp movie. Possibly a great date night movie. I say possibly because either Johnny Depp will get your girl horny or she’ll be disappointed you aren’t Johnny Depp. Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story — I fucking loved this movie as a kid. Not sure it would hold up since I’m sure most of it is bullshit, but that soundtrack is GREAT. Hot Shots! Part Deux — PG Cooper doesn’t even know what Hot Shots is, but I can assure you it was beloved at the time. This is a fun weekend crowd movie. Super Mario Bros — I watched it then and I’ll watch it now. Jurassic Park — Relive everyone’s first reaction to that dude sitting on a toilet and getting eaten by a T-Rex. Last Action Hero — I was too young to realize this was a comedy at the time. I have to watch it with the proper context and the right crowd. Also, ‘93 gave us that movie, Sidekick, where the kid daydreams about Chuck Norris all day long. Maybe we can arrange some sort of double feature. Dennis the Menace — A childhood favorite of mine. Christopher Lloyd as that creepy homeless guy/kidnapper/child murderer. Great stuff. Son in Law — I won’t apologize for liking Pauly Shore at the time. This was certainly my favorite of his movies. It probably doesn’t hold up today, but you could find a fun early 90’s MTV crowd to watch it with. Rookie of the Year — Another childhood favorite of mine. I know y’all love the Sandlot, and that did come out in ‘93 too, but it’s also some Boomer shit. This was our jam at the time. Free Willy — You all loved this movie at the time. Even Dracula. Don’t pretend you didn’t. Forget Jurassic Park. Y’all gonna hop on your time machine, and go relieve this movie, and cheer as that whale miraculously hops over a damn kid. And again, GREAT soundtrack. Hocus Pocus — Another childhood favorite. Coneheads — I dragged my family to this movie and I’ll do it again. Robin Hood: Men in Tights — Another childhood favorite. My introduction to Mel Brooks. I’d watch this in theatres right now. Tom & Jerry: The Movie — Not gonna lie. I loved this at the time. I know people hated it cause they talked but I didn’t give a shit. I’d watch this over the new one that just came out. Surf Ninjas — I actually don’t like Surf Ninjas, but if 1godzillafan invited me I’d watch it with him. Airborne — This movie is fucking great. SnoBorderZero will love it. Cool Runnings — Forget Rudy. This the real deal. Demolition Man — Doomsday would break Covid protocols to go watch this on the big screen right now. The Nightmare Before Christmas — Kids in school said this movie was scary and I’d say to myself, “what a bunch of pussies.” I hate the Hot Topic crowd but at least they appreciate this movie. I know we’re on the 1993 time machine, but I’d recommend going to the 2006 re-release. Even if it’s in dumb 3D. Better crowds. Also, did anyone here get those Burger King watches? Man, forget seeing this in theatres. I need to go to Burger King and get those damn watches. I can’t believe I lost mine ... or threw it away... or something. Look Who’s Talking Now — I loved these dumb movies. Disney’s The Three Musketeers — Shit was lid. Addams Family Values — Enjoy this before it became a meme. Mrs. Doubtfire — Man, we all loved this at the time. Robin Williams R.I.P. Batman: Mask of the Phantasm — I watched this with my class. I don’t know how or why, but I remember they gave us a book cover that was the poster of the movie. Again, another thing I lost or threw out for no reason. Grumpy Old Men — We took Walter Matthau for granted as kids. Guy was a national treasure. Zoomers and their Betty White. Bitch, we had Walter Matthau. We win. Tombstone — I think most of you would go watch this in a heartbeat.

I thought about the Fugitive and Cliffhanger, but I think watching those would be no different than watching a Liam Neeson or Denzel Washington movie today. Just a bunch of old people silently watching a movie and occasionally falling asleep.

Fuck you, I'm watching The Fugitive on the big screen. Cliffhanger might be fun, but The Fugitive is priority. I like the Fugitive. I guess it could be fun. There are some big action sequences. This was considered a blockbuster in its day. And it was back when Harrison Ford still gave a shit. That begs the question. Outside of Star Wars and Indiana Jones, which Harrison Ford movies are you watching in theatres? I know Dracula is a Jack Ryan fan. Is he watching Patriot Games and Clear & Present Danger? American Graffiti would, no doubt, be fun to watch with a 1973 audience. Blade Runner, I guess. Although keep in mind this would be the original version with the dumb voice over. Witness? Frantic, I think, would be a fun art house film. Maybe watch it in one of those shady Time Square theatres from back in the day. Working Girl was a crowd pleaser in its day. Air Force One? SnoBorderZero shit on it, but Six Days/Seven Nights was fun at the time. What Lies Beneath is a piece of shit , but people loved it at the time. Good crowd movie.
