I watched the first episode last night and then knocked the fuck out during the second one. I’ll try to watch it tonight. My only reaction thus far is laughing at IanTheCool cause there’s now witches and cats in his Star Wars. |

The fifth elements influence is felt across the galaxy. That first scene was filmed from the fucking temple they save the world at in fifth element, I think they kept the same statues too, crumbled open and gave them their harry Potter ball (best scene of the episode btw).
Then they stab someone in the chest with a light saber and said person is up hacking systems in the morning in the next episode.
Who are these things being made for?

I'm tired of people being stabbed straight in and out with a lightsaber. Did she mean to let her live? If she did, then I guess that makes sense. If not, it would take more effort to pull the lightsaber straight back out than it would be to just cut out to the side. For that matter, a swish left and right, or straight up, would definitely do the trick.
If you need your hero to get away or the bad guy to escape, there's many better ways to show/tell that.
