I'm tired of people being stabbed straight in and out with a lightsaber. Did she mean to let her live? If she did, then I guess that makes sense. If not, it would take more effort to pull the lightsaber straight back out than it would be to just cut out to the side. For that matter, a swish left and right, or straight up, would definitely do the trick. If you need your hero to get away or the bad guy to escape, there's many better ways to show/tell that. Oh are you serious? They did the same thing in the obi-wan series. Why do they keep doing this? Fatal wounds have no consequence anymore? So what's the point? Why even bother with the Chewbacca death fakeout if we are just going to immediately learn he was in a different ship? Why have Darth Maul show up again? I guess being sliced IN HALF doesnt mean anything. Argg!

But don't you know that Andor is the best thing Star Wars has ever done in the history of Star Wars?
I'm not surprised Ashoka isn't doing well. Its not a character the mainstream knows, and is basically a live action version of a children's cartoon.

The only reason I can follow what's going on in Ahsoka is because I watched a recap video for Star Wars: Rebels beforehand. I meant to watch it, but never got around to it. Anyone unfamiliar with Rebels is likely to be mostly lost. Everyone character's motivation, good or evil, will be lost on anyone who doesn't already know these characters.
I know Thrawn from the Timothy Zahn novels, not Rebels. From what I gather, they're essentially the same character.

I think that's the growing feeling with where we're at not only with Star Wars but Marvel too. I tapped out of the MCU a long time ago because I don't want to watch dozens of hours of mediocre content just to catch up. There's plenty of better stuff for me to watch.

When it comes to Ahsoka, the situation seems more severe. With the MCU, we still had different writers and directors involved in creating the overall story arc. As a result, each of the MCU writer/director pairs brought their own ideas to their individual movie that was mostly separate from what had come before. In the case of Ahsoka, we've got the same person at the helm who was responsible for Rebels. It's all the same to him, and he expects it to all be the same to his audience, but it's not.

Episode 3 is Grade A schlock. Good job, Doomsday.

Is Neverending the only one watching this? I'm watching it, but don't have much to say.

I saw some idiots on twitter doing the predictable, obligatory 'OMFG Anakin is back this is the best day evarh!' and aside from those people just wanting attention it's just silly that people are blown away by a character appearing that a) leaked months ago and b) already reappeared in a previous show.
