1godzillafan , we summon you. We need votes for Harry Potter, Jack Sparrow, Midsommar and La La Land. Pirates of the Caribbean is garbage, Midsommar was mediocre at best, and I haven't seen La La Land. But fine, I vote for Harry Potter.

I'll try Room again, and A History of Violence.
If I can get them and A Prophet in I'll be good. Has anyone besides me an Coop seen A Prophet? It's really good.

By the way, we now have a total of 89 movies voted onto the list, leaving 11 open slots. If we go down to having the Top 2 movies voted on, that creates an imbalance. I suppose I could add one more movie from the recent crop to get it to an even 90/10, if everybody’s cool with that?
Or...the next round can be the Top 3, and THEN we go to 2?

Do we vote for which one of the movies from the recent crop gets in? If not I'm decidedly not cool with that. We're probably going to have a tie for second at some point in the next five rounds so you probably shouldn't worry about it. If not we can just have a last round where one and only one gets in.

We’re selecting two, but how many we voting on? Still 6? I assumed we would be voting for 3, the usual convention is that we vote for one more than the number that gets in (thus forcing people to vote for at least one they didn't nominate).

PhantomKnight, if you do vote 3, top 2 proceed, you're still bound to have ties. Don't worry about going over to 102 or whatever at the end. I'll give you a primer on Google forms, or you get people to email you an excel at the end. Lowest vote tallies in the overage get kicked out of the final 100.

We’re selecting two, but how many we voting on? Still 6? Three. PhantomKnight , if you do vote 3, top 2 proceed, you're still bound to have ties. Don't worry about going over to 102 or whatever at the end. I'll give you a primer on Google forms, or you get people to email you an excel at the end. Lowest vote tallies in the overage get kicked out of the final 100. Yeah, I’m kind of fully expecting us to go over 100. If we do...well, we’ll figure it out when we get there. Also, I’ll admit I’m still figuring out exactly how to go about the ranking process. A primer on Google Forms would definitely be appreciated, though, if I decide to go that way. The Excel idea is also intriguing. I was also considering if there was a way to retain the voting round system for it, but I’m not sure that’s feasible.

In another life I may have championed Force Awakens but I ain’t voting for anything J.J. Abrams except for the Mission Impossible’s. No Super 8. No Trek. And certainly no Star Wars. So it’s either Rogue One or Revenge of the Sith.
