That creates a three-way tie for second place, thereby putting four movies on the list. I was going to leave voting open for another 90 minutes or so, but unless anybody objects, I think we can move on to Round 2?

Alright, so with that, we have our first four entrants on the list: There Will Be Blood, The Social Network, Munich and Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring. Off to a strong start.
And now begins our next nomination round. Same rules as before, but now open to foreign films as well, just as a reminder. You can either keep the same ones you had last time if they didn't make it in this round or submit two entirely new ones. Whatever you want.
To keep things moving along, if everybody can get their nominations in by noon (EST) tomorrow, we can get right to voting again. If everybody submits before then, well, we can just keep things chugging right along.
NOMINATION ROUND 2
I'll kick things off with:
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind Inception

New voting round begins now. I think I'll keep this open until about 2 p.m. tomorrow. So far, we've been fairly efficient in getting nominations and voting done in a timely manner.

I wonder if this would work better as votes for vs against I mean...I have been looking for ways to liven this up a bit. But part of the problem there is there's 100 slots to fill up. So, it's not like it's a more high-stakes matter of "there's only a limited amount of space, which movies get the distinction of taking up that space?"
I'm always open to suggestions for ways to make this more fun/exciting, though.

Suggestion: The nomination rounds and the voting rounds are feeling a tad redundant, maybe we could make things a little more zippy by assuming everyone's nominations that don't get through will carry over to the next round, then quick having the people whose nominations did get through pick replacements and then move on. Then if someone does want to switch things up they can just make that known during a voting round or some other time.

Any objections to that, guys?
Also, I'm considering finding a way to take the eventual list and create another tournament out of it, to see what we choose as the best of the best.
