Shit... Speaking of which, have you recently watched the trailer for 2004 Punisher? That movie seriously looks like it was shot in 1991. Trailer is abysmally edited as well. It was a bad movie in 2004, and I can only assume it has aged horrendously.

It was a bad movie in 2004, and I can only assume it has aged horrendously. The thing that really sticks out is how cheesy the music is. It sounds like something from The Rocketeer. Listen to the last 10 seconds of this clip.

THE FINAL VOTE:BatmanI like little things about The Punisher, but if you tweaked it in a slightly different direction it would stand a better chance here. The movie as is is just begging for better action set pieces and more memorable aesthetic. But even if The Punisher were a good movie, 60's Batman is too high of a hurdle in entertainment value to overcome. The ScoreBatman: 7 The Punisher: 2WINNER:DCNuh-nuh-nuh-nuh-nuh-nuh, nuh-nuh-nuh-nuh-nuh-nuh... Batman gives the Punisher a stern lecture about assassination. Batman's words are so powerful that the Punisher drops his guns and starts sobbing. DC: 1 Marvel: 0 Draw: 1ROUND 3!
IN THIS CORNERSuperheroes: Christopher Reeve as Clark Kent/Superman Supervillains: Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor, Ned Beatty as Otis, Valerie Perrine as Eve Teschmacher Civilians: Marlon Brando as Jor-El, Margot Kidder as Lois Lane, Jackie Cooper as Perry White, Marc McClure as Jimmy Olsen, Glenn Ford as Jonathan Kent, Phyllis Thaxter as Martha Kent Run Time: 2 Hours 23 Minutes (Theatrical Cut), 2 Hours 31 Minutes (Special Edition), 3 Hours 8 Minutes (Extended Edition) Director: Richard Donner (The Omen, Lethal Weapon) Writer: Mario Puzo (The Godfather), David Newman & Leslie Newman (Bonnie and Clyde), Robert Benton (Kramer vs. Kramer) Music: John Williams (Jaws, Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park) Cinematography: Geoffrey Unsworth (2001: A Space Odyssey) Tomatometer: 94% IMDB: 7.3 Oscars Won: Special Achievement - Visual Effects Oscars Nominated: Best Music - Original Score, Best Editing, Best Sound Golden Globes Nominated: Best Original Score Story: The last survivor of the dying planet of Krypton is sent to Earth and is raised by farmers in Kansas. As he grows up he develops amazing powers and becomes Superman, a symbol of justice for the world to unite behind. But Lex Luthor's diabolical plan to destroy the West Coast is threatened by the Man of Steel, so devises a strategy to rid the world of Superman before he can stop Luthor. Pros: You will believe a man can fly. Cons: You will believe a man can jut his arms out in front of a projected background. AND IN THIS CORNERSuperheroes: Matt Salinger as Steve Rogers/Captain America Supervillains: Scott Paulin as Tadzio de Santis/The Red Skull, Francesca Nero as Valentina de Santis Civilians: Ronny Cox as President Thomas Kimball, Ned Beatty as Sam Kolawetz, Kim Gillingham as Bernice Stewart, Kim Gillingham as Sharon Run Time: 1 Hour 37 Minutes Director: Albert Pyun (Alien from LA, Cyborg) Writer: Stephen Tolkin Music: Barry Goldberg Cinematographer: Philip Alan Waters Tomatometer: 7% IMDB: 3.2 Story: Nearly fifty years after his battle with the Red Skull, super soldier Steve "Captain America" Rogers is discovered frozen in Alaska. Thawed out, he attempts to reajust to life in the 90's, with his former girlfriend, Bernice, who is married and with an adult daughter, Sharon. But the Red Skull is still alive and up to no good and sends assassins to kill Steve, failing to do so but killing Bernice in the process. Steve and Sharon then seek out the Red Skull in Italy, where he has the President of the United States in captivity. Pros: This movie also has Ned Beatty in it, just like Superman. That's pretty good, right? Cons: Rubber ears. FIGHT!

There’s a 3-hour cut of Superman? Wyldstaar, where you at? It's a cobbled together TV version I think. Warner Archive put it on blu-ray a while back.
