Here's the thing, I am very pro-Howard the Duck.  I think the movie is a blast, and endearingly weird.  I also have an affection for Adventures of Superman, which is a charmingly retro kids show with a great cast.  Superman and the Mole Men isn't entirely the best representation of it, as it runs double the normal episode length and feels it, but it gets me in my soft, George Reeves-loving heart.  I also dig that the movie doesn't really have a villain, just people who are scared and confused, which I think helps it stand out in superhero filmmaking.  Superman gets the slight edge from me.

Howard thought he had Kryptonite on his home planet.  Turns out it was just a paperweight.  Superman is confused by the strange duck, but eventually laughs and they both leave on good terms.

Story:  In the feature film spin-off of the hit television series, Joker, Riddler, Penguin, and Catwoman form an uneasy alliance as they concoct a plan for world domination by dehydrating the world leaders.  Batman and Robin investigate, but they find themselves detoured when the villains devise a plan to distract the Caped Crusaders by kidnapping Bruce Wayne.

Pros:  Anybody who doesn't love 60's Batman is a bastard.
Cons:  This movie's success inspired the film Munster, Go Home!, which is something I just can't overlook.

Story:  After his family is killed in a mob hit, Frank Castle wages his own war on criminals as the Punisher, a one-man army who guns down criminals mercilessly.  The weakened mafia families draw the attention of the Yakuza, who attempt to weaken them further by kidnapping their children in an effort to control organized crime in the city.  The Punisher soon intervenes, throwing him in the middle of two warring mobs and making him the loose cannon that could decide the future of crime in the city.

Pros:  If there is any comic book property that would translate well into a shitty 80's action movie, it's The Punisher.
Cons:  This aint it, chief.
