I'd we include the Archieverse we have Casper, Josie and the Pussycats, Richie Rich, and whatever fake movie Ian wants to invent. Direct to TV Sabrina, the Teenage Witch movie starring Melissa Joan Hart.

I'm not voting this way to be a rebel or because of any affection for Edward Norton. I simply feel that it's a better movie. I've always felt that The Incredible Hulk gets a bad rap. It's better than people give it credit for. Agreed. If any MCU movie deserves to be the black sheep it’s Thor: Dark World.

THE FINAL VOTE:The Incredible HulkWatchmen is one of two Zack Snyder movies I don't have much of a desire to shit on (the other is also in this tournament), since I look at that movie and think "Yeah, good enough." The Incredible Hulk is just fun though. I can watch that movie more than most other MCU movies. Watchmen on the other hand, isn't a casual watch, but a commitment. I'm not ready for commitment. I gotta be free, baby. The ScoreWatchmen: 9 The Incredible Hulk: 2WINNER:DCHallelujah. Rorschach starts internal monologuing to the point where the Hulk gets bored, turns back into Banner, and leaves. DC: 14 Marvel: 10 Draw: 1ROUND 26!
IN THIS CORNERSuperheroes: Jeffery Dean Morgan as Franklin Clay, Zoe Saldana as Aisha al-Fadhil, Idris Elba as William Roque, Chris Evans as Jake Jensen, Columbus Short as Linwood "Pooch" Porteous, Oscar Jaenada as Carlos "Cougar" Alvarez Supervillains: Jason Patric as Max, Holt McCalluny as Wade Travis, Pater Francis James as Fadhil Civilians: Tanee McCall as Jolene Run Time: 1 Hour 33 Minutes Director: Sylvain White (Slender Man, I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer) Writer: Peter Berg (Friday Night Lights), James Vanderbilt (The Rundown, Zodiac, White House Down, Independence Day: Resurgence, The Meg) Music: John Ottman (X2, Fantastic Four, Superman Returns, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer) Cinematography: Scott Kevan Tomatometer: 48% IMDB: 6.3 Story: After being betrayed on a mission gone wrong, a Special Forces team known as "The Losers" fake their deaths and desire retribution on the unknown superior that ordered their deaths, who they only know as "Max." Their window into finding the mysterious Max comes in the form of a mysterious woman named Aisha, who also wishes to kill Max. But can they trust her, or does she have her own agenda? Pros: Zoe Saldana, Idris Elba, adn Chris Evans in a DC flick before they joined the MCU. Cons: Franchise was presumed, and this movie doesn't really have a conclusion to its storyline. AND IN THIS CORNERSuperheroes: Ray Stevenson as Frank Castle/The Punisher, Wayne Knight as Linus Lieberman/Micro Supervillains: Dominic West as Billy Russoti/Jigsaw, Doug Hutchison as James Russoti/Loony Bin Jim, T.J. Storm as Maginty Civilians: Colin Salmon as Paul Budiansky, Julie Benz as Angela Donatelli, Stephanie Janusauskas as Grace Donatelli, Romano Orzani as Nicky Donatelli Run Time: 1 Hour 43 Minutes Director: Lexi Alexander (Green Street Hooligans) Writer: Freddie Santora (The Longshots), Art Marcum & Matt Halloway (Iron Man) Music: Michael Wandmacher (Underworld: Blood Wars, Piranha 3D) Cinematographer: Steve Gainer (Movie 43, A Haunted House) Tomatometer: 29% IMDB: 5.9 Story: As the Punisher, Frank Castle has successfully killed Don Gaitano Cesare and personally thrown his right hand man Billy Russoti into a glass crusher, but in the process accidentally kills an undercover FBI agent. Feeling remorse, Frank tries to make things right with the agent's family, but his wife, Angela, wants nothing to do with the man who killed her husband. To complicate matters, Russoti survived his fate, horribly disfigured, and renames himself Jigsaw. Jigsaw then seeks to free his brother James "Loony Bin Jim" Russoti from the mental institution and together seek to kill the Punisher. Pros:Cons: Can be as ostentatious as a Schumacher Batman movie when it wants to be. FIGHT!

Naaahhh. War Zone is a bit cliche but it's pretty good. Especially in comparison to a lot of garbage that was released in that time period. We're talking greatest hits like Frank Miller's The Spirit, Dragonball: Evolution and Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li. The Losers is pretty fun. "The plot", if you wanna call it that, is pretty inconsequential but the cast/characters are a lot of fun. And again, it's better than other garbage of the period like Kevin Smith's Cop Out and Robert Rodriguez's Machete. Bruce Willis' R.E.D., which is really good, is the main competitor to the Losers. Anyway... I'll go with the Losers. I just remember having a lot more fun with that one. Chris Evans, in particular, is great. I prefer Chris Evans in roles like this and Fantastic Four (and Cellular - remember that movie) than as Captain America.

I haven't seen War Zone, but I have seen The Losers, and...it's not good. It just feels like such a tired-out, passionless movie. It has no shortage of one-liners and quirky characters, but there's no real sense of effort behind any of it. Kind of a waste of its cast. Not terrible, but not good either. A couple months after The Losers came out in 2010, Joe Carnahan's adaptation of The A-Team was released. The A-Team was pretty much the same movie...but done much better.
So...I'll just abstain from this one.

Not to sound like SnoBorderZero, but the cinematography is godawful. One of the ugliest movies released in the 2010's. And it had none of the charm of the 1980's series. It reminded me of that horrific Miami Vice movie from 2006.

The A-Team is fucking fun. Easily one of the most re-watchable movies of the 2010's for me. One of those movies where, even though I own it, I'll leave it on if I ever stumble across it on TV. By no means any sort of masterpiece, but by all means a movie that has no illusions about what it is, and just leans into it. Good action, good one-liners, good humor all around, good score, good chemistry between the cast members. Good movie.

THE FINAL VOTE:The LosersBoth The Losers and Punisher: War Zone are problematic action flicks with fun elements that bombed horribly. What this choice boils down to is which one of these would I have rather see a sequel to. The answer was The Losers, one hundred percent. Not a great movie, but it's more evenly entertaining than War Zone. The ScoreThe Losers: 3 Punisher: War Zone: 3WINNER:DRAWMirage Comics is better than both DC and Marvel, and the only decent thing they've done is Ninja Turtles. When the bullets stopped flying, everyone was dead. I guess they all were losers. DC: 14 Marvel: 10 Draw: 2ROUND 27!
IN THIS CORNERSuperheroes: Josh Brolin as Jonah Hex, Megan Fox as Lilah Black Supervillains: John Malkovich as Quentin Turnbull, Michael Fassbender as Burke Civilians: Will Arnett as Lieutenant Grass, Michael Shannon as Dr. Cross Williams, Wes Bentley as Adleman Musk, Aiden Quinn as Ulysses S. Grant, Lance Reddick as Smith, Jeffery Dean Morgan as Jeb Turnbull Run Time: 1 Hour 21 Minutes Director: Jimmy Hayward (Horton Hears a Who, Free Birds) Writer: Mark Nevaldine & Brian Taylor (Crank, Crank 2: High Voltage) Music: Marco Beltrami (Blade II), Mastodon Cinematography: Mitchell Amundsen (Transformers, GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra) Tomatometer: 12% IMDB: 4.7 Razzies Nominated: Worst Actress - Megan Fox, Worst Screen Couple/Ensemble - Josh Brolin & Megan Fox Story: In the late-nineteenth century, former Confederate soldier Jonah Hex is betrayed by his former superior officer Quentin Turnbull, who murders Hex and his family. Hex is brought back to life by Native American magic, with a scarred face and the power to communicate with the dead. Hex becomes a bounty hunter in the wild west, eventually receiving an offer to take down Turnbull himself, who is masterminding a new plan involving a deadly superweapon . Pros: Third DC movie in a row with Jeffery Dean Morgan in it. Cons: Between this and Ghost Rider, I'm starting to believe Wes Bentley is the kiss of death for comic book movies. AND IN THIS CORNERSuperheroes: Hugh Jackman as James "Logan" Howlett/Wolverine, Taylor Kitsch as Remy LeBeau/Gambit, Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier Supervillains: Liev Schreiber as Victor Creed/Sabretooth, Danny Huston as William Striker, Scott Adkins as Weapon XI, Kevin Durand as Fred Dukes/Blob, Daniel Henney as Agent Zero Civilians: Lynn Collins as Kayla Silverfox, Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson, Dominic Monaghan as Chris Bradley, Will.i.am as John Wraith, Tim Pocock as Scott Summers, Tahyna Tozzi as Emma Run Time: 1 Hour 47 Minutes Director: Gavin Hood (Ender's Game) Writer: David Benioff (Game of Thrones, Troy, The Kite Runner, Gemini Man), Skip Woods (Hitman, The A-Team, A Good Day to Die Hard) Music: Harry Gregson-Williams (Shrek, Phone Booth, The Rundown, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe) Cinematographer: Donald McAlpine (Predator, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe) Tomatometer: 37% IMDB: 6.6 Story: Mutants James Howlett leaves a mutant task force team in an attempt to save what's left of his soul. In the years that pass, he starts a relationship with a woman named Kayla, but he finds himself hunted by his half-brother Victor Creed, who has been killing off former team members. When Victor kills Kayla to get to James, James turns to former superior William Stryker to help deal with Victor. Taking on the new code name "Wolverine," James volunteers for a procedure that grafts a rare indestructible metal called Adamantium to his skeleton, making him stronger than ever. But now that Stryker has James back in his possession, he doesn't intend to let him go. This leads James to go on the run, evading Stryker as he hunts down Victor. Pros: Wasn't directed by a rapist. Also, those opening credits are badass. Cons: Never let some dude named "Skip" write your screenplay. FIGHT!

X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Both are of course terrible. I'm giving it to Wolverine only because of the opening during the credits. The rest of the movie is at least laughably bad for the most part, although what was done with Deadpool was practically criminal. Since Deadpool eventually worked out though, it's easy not to get angry about it the way I used to. Jonah Hex on the other hand, hasn't been fixed since it's abomination of a movie was released. How a movie with this many amazing actors could turn out so awful is a clear demonstration of just how important it is to have a good screenplay and director.
