That show's gone off the fucking rails. In a... bad way? Oh, yes. It used to be cheesy fun, now it's just a fucking farce. With obvious budget cuts (one of the reasons Routh was forced to leave this past season). The show used to be a time-traveling sci-fi romp, but now since Constantine's joined the gang, it's pretty much become a goofy Ghostbusters since they now pretty exclusively go after demons and magical creatures. |

Fantastic Four: RotSS
I don't like either of these movies. The blue contact lenses they made Jessica Alba wear for the sequel make her look like a freak, and cloud Galactus is crap. I'm only voting for FFRotSS because Andre Braugher is in it. I'll watch him in anything, even if it's crap. Superman Returns is Lex Luthor with yet another real estate scheme. I could barely stay wake for this one. Giving Clark a kid wasn't even remotely thought through.

I thought I heard somewhere that the production schedule of Superman Returns prevented time for doing test screenings. Which explains why the movie feels so much like a rough/first cut.

THE FINAL VOTE:Superman ReturnsSuperman Return gets a bit of a bum rap. I think it's pretty good, if a bit long and it doesn't explore its premise of a world where Superman has been absent as fully as it could and probably should. That being said, I enjoyed it when it came out, and though I haven't watched it in years, I think positively of it today. Rise of the Silver Surfer on the other hand is just the first film again, done slightly worse, and has a pretty shit climax. Like the first film, I like parts of it, but there is a clearly better movie going up against it. The ScoreSuperman Returns: 10
