Sorry I've been a little out of the loop these past few days. Are these nominations in addition to the two I submitted before?

Poll is up until 11am Thursday. I'll start a new set if the votes start coming in early, but leave the poll up for a bit.

For now I'm going with The Night of the Hunter and Safety Last! I do really want Lloyd on the list and The Night of the Hunter is just since a singular piece of American filmmaking. IanTheCool since The Fly doesn't seem to be getting much love I'll throw my support behind The Exorcist next round. I do want to keep fighting for The Manchurian Candidate though.

I'd love to vote in a monster movie, but I don't care for The Fly all that much.
You get Frankenstein or Night of the Living Dead onto the list and I'll vote for the living hell out of those.

I'm going to keep putting The Truman Show up until it gets some love, as I really do think it predicted the obsession with reality TV eerily well.

I can get behind both of those. I'm just gonna tell myself were disqualifying The Fly because it veers too close to a Canadian movie and therefore doesn't belong in the AFI, and not that people just aren't interested in one of my favourite movies.

Wait, Frankenstein's not on the list?? It was on the 1998 one but not the 2007 list.

It's not letting me edit the poll, I can either throw everything out and start a new one or assume this to be a selection in the next nomination round.

To be honest, I never even noticed the poll at the top until just now. What won before? Also, which version of The Fly is in the running? You didn't include a year.

Wait, Frankenstein's not on the list?? Oh yeah, thank you for the great reminder. If nominations are still open... The Bride of Frankenstein - in my opinion it's quite a step up from Frankenstein (which I still admire) and has contributed to some of the greatest and most iconic imagery in film history. The 'monsters' are great in career defining performances, the supporting cast especially Ernest Thesinger is just as dead-on and it really is a staple among horror and classic Hollywood. I remember being miffed that they took Frankenstein off the 2007 list but I always thought Bride of Frankenstein would have been a better addition.
