Simple game, something I've posed to the outside world. In these quarantined times, might be a good conversation starter.
You are the curator of a local movie theater. What films, past or present would you choose to show?
For the sake of this exercise, we are going to use a Regal theater near me in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, which has 16 screens, one of which is IMAX. So you will have 15 normal sized screens to pick from and 1 IMAX.
Soooo... what are your picks? Choose carefully.

I typed up a well thought out answer to this game over the past hour or so, and the internet ate it. I'm not doing that all over again.
Sorry

Doomsday SnoBorderZero PG Cooper donnyThe Bond movies (minus the Craig ones) are playing theatrically in Australia but as double features. They put zero effort into the pairings. Those are perfect. Here’s where it gets interesting. I hate those pairings. OHMSS should be paired with FYEO. YOLT with DAF Live & Let Die with Golden Gun Spy Who Loved Me with Moonraker The rest of it is fine: Just glad there’s no Skyfall + Spectre. That would be disgusting.

I hope it expands to more locations. There's no reason this shouldn't play nationwide. Theatres got nothing right now. A big push towards crowd-pleasing horror movies could spike up attendance. I mean... are we actually gonna have Halloween this year? Are kids gonna be trick or treating? Are people, aside from dumb teenagers, gonna have Halloween parties? Are there gonna be haunted houses? Carnivals? Fairs? I think the movies is the only real thing to do this October. donny, my man, which Halloween favorites would you pay to watch on the big screen?

At this rate all of them... but definitely Halloween and Season of the Witch, which sucks since that's not being included. I enjoy 4, so cool with that as well. Don't really like 5.
H20 and the 2018 version, I'd see those as well.

The only ones playing are the ones Lionsgate currently has their hands on. Season of the Witch isn't with them because that's a Universal title.
But yeah. I don't think anyone's excited to see Halloween 5 on the big screen. I'd be down for 1 and 4 though.

At this rate all of them... but definitely Halloween and Season of the Witch. I meant horror movies in general. Which ones would you watch? You could include family titles too, like Beetlejuice and Addams Family. I watched Hocus Pocus back in 2018. Audio mix wasn’t great though. I’ve also watched Nightmare on Elm Street which looked & sounded a lot better than I expected for a lower budgeted movie from 1984. I’d love to see Dream Warriors on the big screen. If they could remaster Evil Dead II, like they did with last year’s Evil Dead remastering, that’d be pretty sweet. But you know which movie would kick ass on the big screen? Francis Coppola’s Dracula. My body is ready. I'd be down for 1 and 4 though. I’ve watched Halloween in theatres. I suspect 4 would play a lot better. There’s more happening. If you could get a nice crowd it should be a fun time.
